Utah State opens as early Vegas favorite @Tennessee

Meh. It's not really a big deal, other than the fact that it is a game on our schedule, so I'd like to see us win.

I don't really care if UT is Tennessee or Toledo. I just want us to go out and win the game.

We'll definitely see how much "thumping" really happens.

The last 3 seasons, UT is getting thumped more than they are doing the thumping.

This is not smack talk. This is a fact supported by the number of 21 pts. or greater losses/wins.

Pard, you need to provide a link where you trolled the Toledo board. Otherwise, well you just look like another run of the mill mid major troll.

A middle of the pack SEC team would be defined by winning 3-5 SEC games per year. UT has won 5 SEC games in 6 seasons.

LOL go back and do some more homework troll. Your posts are making you look like a retard pard! Are all of the fa/.... ags as mathematically challenged as you?

And that would be 5 more wins than your fa.. ags have over SEC teams.

This is stupid. USUs schedule and wins/losses is like us with this schedule

Wins against.

WKU
USA
Kentucky
UNC
FAU
Syracuse
USF
FIU
Arkansas

With Close Losses to

Vandy
VTech
UVA
Notre Dame

And then we go on Texas' board and talk trash about how good we are.

This is kind of an interesting chart.

Tennessee, Utah State, Stats, Records, Odds, Power ratings, Against the Spread, Injuries - Linemakers - Sporting News

Before you get white and shaky, I do realize the level of competition is different and I do realize that this is last year.

Still... Utah State better than UT in 4/5 offensive statistical categories. And Utah State better than UT in 4/5 defensive statistical categories.

The teams we played had better defenses and offenses than what you played and most had better defenses and offenses than us. We sucked last year. Should be a little better this year. That has no bearing on the game against USU. How good would your offense look against Bama, UF, USCe, UGA, Oregon, Mizzoo, and even Vandy? How about your defense? I would bet that at the end of next year your team will be better statistically than UT in the same categories. We are just now pulling out (hopefully) of the darkest period in our 120 years of football.

Are you aware that you are on a UT board? Your false stats won't fly here. Do some research before you start throwing random numbers out. I can only assume you were trying to once again talk about our past THREE seasons, which you love to bring up so much. Should I start bringing up USU's worst three consecutive seasons?

This stat is not true. We have won 14 SEC games during that span. In the 20 years prior we only had one losing season at all and one season of a conference record below .500. We fired that hall of fame coach for having a losing record in conference. It is not acceptable and the coach we have now will have to win or he won't be here.

Lets compare the teams that we both so greatly love, shall we?

Stadium capacity:

UT- 102,455
USU- 25,513

All time win %:

UT-804-361-53 (.682)
USU-514-512-31 (.501)

Conference:

UT- SEC
USU- MWC

Post season bowls:

UT- 25-24 (.510)
USU- 3-6 (.333)

Conference titles:

UT- 16
USU- 13

Consensus All-Americans:

UT- 38
USU- 2

First Season:

UT- 1891
USU- 1892

Did I miss anything? Oh yeah...

Nation Titles:

UT- 6 claimed (8 unclaimed)
USU- 0 . ZERO . NON.

Explain to me again why we are so wrong for claiming UT is better than USU...?

Alright let's go back 6 seasons.

07: we won 6 sec games.
08: we won 3 sec games.
09: we won 4 sec games including one over #22 USCe. With losses to Florida 13-23, auburn 22-26, Alabama 10-12.
10: we won 3 sec games.
11: we won 1 sec game.
12: we won 1 sec game.
13: we won 2 sec games.

Dooley really was the lowest point. BTW, by my math that's 20 sec wins in the last six years. Not 5.

Says the guy who's juggernaut Aggies made quite the habit up pulling up the rear of the mighty WAC from 2005-2010 .... 7th, 9th, 7th, 7th, 7th and 7th.... 13-35 during that span vs the likes of New Mexico State, Idaho & Texas State. Evidently gets his courage to talk smack to the 8th winningest major college team all time from a great 2 year run in said conference in 2011 & 2012 when they bested those WAC beasts, finishing 2nd & 1st respectively.

Then throw in a stellar Mountain West Conference campaign last year when they really took it to Hawaii, Wyoming, Nevada and powerhouse New Mexico and we can all agree that Utah State is a real up and comer. All this and I didn't even mention those 9 bowl appearances (3-6 record) in 122 years.

Maybe we should try to buy this game out or something.

Keeton is talented but he's a bit of a question mark right now. Missing spring ball and still recovering from ACL and MCL. Even if he gets healthy physically there will still be a mental side to overcome. Gotta be a tough deal to get past for a Dual QB. By the time he would play UT he would be just short of 11 months out from the injury.

See this whole time I thought you were the Utah St. Utes and not one time did you correct me. How long have you been a fan. Oh and good win over a heartbroken Nth. Illinois team.

My bad. I was on the fly and not checking facts.

I was thinking road wins.

On the other hand, you do have 4 sec wins in the past 3 seasons. So that's pretty good.

And another thing... In your haste to correct me, you forgot how to count to six. 07 to 13 is seven seasons.
