I'm all for it I don't care if they wear a different jersey for every single game all I care about is getting those W's I'm tired of being run over by sec teams. Enough is enough!!!

To be fair, Maryland was trying to get anyone talking about them. They needed a splash just to be relevant.

UT would just be growing the brand. I love the crazy jerseys. I love the Orange and white. There is nothing like it. It would be okay to throw in a few wild alternates. The replica sales alone would be worth doing it.

Sadly, Maryland ended up with more folks laughing at their unis, instead of talking their football program. But I understand what you're saying.

I don't mind seeing some mild variations using our traditional colors. I just don't want to see us take the field looking like an acid trip gone bad.

I'm going to be a fan regardless of the uniform . I just don't want to see a coonskin hat on top of the helmet and a jar of corn in place of the power T .

Chrome helmets with orange Power T, orange camo sleeves on the spandex undershirts, all black unis and on and on. Some will like being dragged dragged out of the stone age and some won't, but if the recruits like it and they are the ones wearing it and taking pride in their team and school then so be it. If it means getting some 5 star recruits who may have gone to another school then I'm for it. I'm a 60 year old conservative old fart and i've lived thru a bunch of frustration, and also good times in the football program, and I'm all in for giving CBJ free rein and let him try it his way. I'm the most excited I've ever been about the program so replace the checkerboard paint in the endzone with giant Nike swooshes if it brings in great recruits. No it doesn't matter what you wear if you win but gotta get the great players there first. Recruiting is the life blood of a program.

Wow, lot's of wild speculation and over-reaction here to an offhand comment a coach made to a recruit, especially considering that the sole purpose of the comment was almost certainly to get the recruit excited about Tennessee. Kids think Oregon is cool and the kid probably made a comment to that effect. Coach responded by saying "Oh yeah wait 'til we get Nike we are going to be cool, too." Means nothing.

I am fine with the "Oregon of the South" unless it also means never winning a meaningful trophy/game/championship.

I think this is what they have in mind, except change the duck feathers for checkerboards on the shoulders.
