Is that name a joke?
You ask if we were still on his list of top schools , I said it probably depends on it Martin is still here next season . I assume this guy like Martin if he had us in his top schools so if he gets fired he may not like TN anymore .I believe Martin will still be here myself
Diamond Stone - Yahoo! Sports[/QUOTE][QUOoTE=CAVol;9954794]This is the first time I've heard of this kid. If we were recruiting him I think he would at least have his own thread.
All good man. I hope we start![]()
Stone does have UT listed as a school of interest. Could be that UT was looking at him during the same time they were looking at Looney. Both from the Milwaukee area.

FWIW, I listened to Basilio archive from today just now. Randy Moore from Scout was on the show and gave his thoughts on the recruiting class.
He just did a story on Turman and his team winning the State. "Turman will be a good player in time. Maybe not next year but I believe he will be a solid player for Tennessee."
"You've got a point guard. I think Larry Austin is going to be a good SEC caliber point guard."
"I've talked to several people and they say that Cofer can absolutely jump out of the gym."
He thinks that this class is much better than it gets credit for.
I agree about our class, I think all four of our commits show upside to be a contributor for our team. Definitely better recruits than the Yemi's/Washpuns/Millers of the world. Only thing me and others hate about Martin's recruiting... He needs a guy with a HIGH scoring ability. Martin doesn't seem to take chances on guys who can't play defense, he seems to recruit defense-orientated players, which is good but we need an offensive spark in the class or next class imo. Doesn't even have to be highly rated, just a scorer who can flat out score. (In before justice was a commit lol)I think that tends to be the consensus among most realistic people. It's not a class that's gonna produce one and doners, but I think all 4 will be contributors in their time at Tennessee and probably all starters before they graduate.
Josh Richardson is the perfect example of what Martin wants in a recruit. A tough nosed guy that comes in playing defense and learns offense along the way. Next years squad could use an immediate impact transfer or two (if Stokes leaves), but I still maintain next years team does better than most think.
