We can't call UT athelrtics a business and not treat it like one. Can't have it both ways.

Problem is four different entities that call the shots
Of which 2 of them serve at the Governors pleasure.

College athletics is not a democracy ran for the people or by the people. It is a business. Remove the CEO and others will follow.

3 SEC teams in top 25 academic standings for public education. Florida, Texas A&M, Georgia. Only Florida has athletic teams constantly in the top 25 for football, basketball, and Baseball add field and track. Where did Cheek come from, see something wrong with this picture.

There will be a fix for this but it will take time. Baseball and football may be on track. Lady BB and softball are holding ground but BB. We have been through a lot and Cheek has not helped with his strive to get the academic level raise.

CCM maybe only a symptom of the real problem, Cheek.

Identify and fix the problem and all the symptoms will go away, but beware new problems may occur as a result.

This way we can address the real issue and still support the Volunteer Athletics....with game boycotts, non renewal of tickets. I have had season tickets for 40 years, do you think I am not going to renew them to prove a point for somebody else they may be committed to change.

I will always support the players and athletic department because we have a President that does not support it and thinks that any surpluses belongs the academic side. To me that is the problem and is were the emphasis should be focused. It should be balanced, however, donor find themselves having to work around Cheek.

How many Presidents have we had the last 20 years. Makes you wonder.

Might as well dispose of that petition if Tennessee makes the NCAA's because Cuonzo will be staying at least two more seasons.

Pearl used to own the Gators, if he's the coach at UT they have at least one loss in the SEC this season.

LOL. Pearl didn't beat Florida once in THREE tries his last year. And this UF team is much better than that one was.

Lol, he still had a winning record against Donovan, and Pearl beat both of his teams that won a National Title with a lot less talent.

It may be a bad source to you, but at the time it was written it was completely factual. It's hard to deny facts even if it's on Wikipedia, BR or TMZ. The truth is the truth.

Martin is 3-2 against Donovan. I'm sure that will get a street on campus named after him someday.

Pearl-ites have to be crushed that their boy will not be returning to the Vols now with Martin sneaking his way into the NCAA (assumed). Even if he does not make the NCAA tourney, he will be back next year based on how they closed the year. I sit back and laugh at the wasted energy promoting this cheat and trying to rally support via some Facebook social media drivel. And it will be even funnier next year watching the circus again! If Pearl isn't hired that is somewhere else.
