And news flash, these "guys" have been in Afghanistan and every other conflict in the history of our country. They can just now stop hiding without fear of reprocussions because of their sexual orientation. Do you think that the repeal of dont ask don't tell has created gays or something?

They need to keep it in the closet and don't go running around in dresses. That would very easily encourage the whole Muslim population of a place like Afghanistan to openly help and fight with the enemy.

And just FYI for those that don't know. Anyone can use the base club providing they pay for the appropriate time as well as getting it approved through the proper channels. Which apparently these folks did, so no federal funding was provided.
