Just for comparison here's a pic from February last year. (and that's with the fists under the biceps pose)

What a difference a year makes

Did I miss something. How did Hurd get so damn big? It's like he really did get on the sauce..

It'd be one thing if he wasn't lean, and went on a huge bulk and got "swoll". But it looks like he has under 10% as well, as being huge. So he basically got twice as big and cut down in a short amount of time?

While impressive, it doesn't seem outlandish for a high level athlete in a high level program. I am far from an expert in this area though.

When your meals are planned out for you and your training regimen is laid out like an instruction manual; impressive transformations is the end result.

It may be hard to believe, but Jalen is only weighing around 223 lbs right now. He may look 240, but he's not. The one significant thing that has happened to him is that he went from close to 8% body fat down to under 5% (which is pretty ridiculous). So while the scales haven't moved for him much, he's lost a lot of fat and replaced it with muscle. Makes a huge difference obviously.

Man I would love to only have 8% body fat.....sucks to get older. I bust my tail in the gym a helluva lot more than I used to when I was younger.

I feel you. I kill myself in the gym too, and definitely don't get the results that I used to. Getting old bites.

Under 5% is almost unheard of. He really IS a freak of nature!

Vin Diesel has had some good movies: Pitch Black, Boiler Room, F&F 1, 5, and 6 (they are actually really entertaining if you give them a shot). In addition he played a minor role in Saving Private Ryan. I personally liked Chronicles of Riddick a lot, but I know that is an unpopular opinion.

Vin Diesel in Knockaround Guys... with John Malkovich and Dennis Hopper...very under rated... that is Hurd...just beating the piss out of everybody

That's ridiculous.. he is a beast

It's like he's been doing nothing but arm and back workouts like 3x a week with heavy weight lol.. The rest of his body doesn't look that much different, but then again, we haven't seen his legs yet. The guy must be hitting up by hot women all over UT campus.

I'm cutting to 8% right now. Currently a bit under 12% probably. Lost 18 pounds in two + months.

3 weight days per week, 2 sets per exercise, minimum cardio. Strength has increased like crazy
Welcome to LeanGains, bruh

Have fun I'm cutting these last two weeks trying to get under 5% without drying out. Sucks not being able to eat for real. lol Got two fitness shoots the next couple of months.......

You're approaching ground I've never seen :p

This is the leanest I've been since HS (15 years ago). I didn't do body fat testing then, but I was a string bean. I've definitely got more mass now, but bodyfat is finally dropping. Those low carb days are not fun, but it gets that work done, lol. I never would have thought semi-fasted workouts (BCAA only) could work. It's unreal. Once I touch 8%, I'm going to slow bulk to try to stay lean. 170-180 at 8% would make me a happy cat. :hi:

How can I lose 20 lbs before pool/lake season? Haha. But, seriously. I hear eating right and regular exercise help, but I'm afraid that's a fad.

If you can be structured, work hard, and plan, it can easily be done

Very true. Lost 30 pounds in a year. Now I'm around 180 with 15%. I wish I had coach Lawsons workout. I'd probably explode to 220, because I can fit a lot more on my frame.

I like the sound of that. He can maintain more agility and probably be better conditioned playing around 225.

For once, we agree! (Only kidding) Yes, if he can be that strong and keep his agility and speed, then that is definitely ideal.
