Yikes. Feels about 2 weeks 2 early to start harassing Hart. Don't back the man into a corner just yet. You want him to feel like this is his idea...not that he was forced into it.

Hasn't anyone seen inception!

That was a really good parody of what Bruce Pearl could do for Tennessee basketball! He could put it back on the map in one year. Heck so what if he can't be hired 'till August, that's all the time he needs to field a winning team! Anybody else is a crap shoot!

Witch Doctor say the Travis article jumped the gun..but its like a baby, its here now..might as well love and accept it. haha. I guess 400 nude Orange painted students planning to streak thru the Campus chanting "Bruce" could wait a week or so on warmer weather..lol

This is the second rehire CBP video I have watched today and I just remember the great games such as Memphis, and Kentucky and that great BIG ORANGE BLAZER. It makes you realize ccm is to UT BBall what cdd was to UT FBall. One more year of ccm and we will be at the depths the football program was when CBJ came. Fire cm and get the REAL COACH OF UT BASKETBALL, BRUCE PEARL, BACK ON THE JOB. It is time to beat the blue misters, reptiles, leg humpers, bammer, the barn, and all the rest and reclaim prominence and relevance in basketball at UT for the men. BLEED ORANGE - GO VOLS

That's why Hart will screw it up just like he screwed up the Gruden hire.

It would never be "his" idea and he would lose a lot of his "Big Man at the AD" status bringing a personality like Pearl back.

Pearl can be hired prior to August. One would just have to go before the NCAA to show why he should be hired. Being this close to the end of his sanction, no way does the NCAA not allow it, unless they want every major sports writer drudging up every failure the NCAA and Mark Emmert have been involved in. Failure to allow him to coach before August would be a bloodbath for the NCAA in the media,

King was before my time, so it's hard to call him one of my favorites. He's the best Vol ever, but just before my time. I came of age with UT basketball in the late 80's (around the Dyron Nix years).

You know what? I honestly believe that Bruce Pearl loves the Tennessee brand so much that he would not take another coaching job and wait another year if that's what it took to come back to the school he dearly loves and atone for the pain he caused it! But that would be really stupid for the university to ponder! You are talking about the return of glory to Tennessee basketball this year not in 2015. You are also talking about maybe another Sweet 16 run in 2016 instead of a rebuilding one. He is that good!

Money speaks man. He will be coaching somewhere next year. If we don't pick him up, someone like Bama will. That would be gross.

And that would be a walk in the park for Tennessee to accomplish wouldn't it? And the NCAA and Emmert don't base their decisions on what sports writers think. But, I'm curious, are UT fans so delusional they think the entire country is behind us on this?

But at this point if he doesn't bring Pearl back, he's pretty much signing his death sentence.

This… Is exactly how I feel about the situation and basketball program as a whole. Hart is a human, he is not an idiot. It would take an idiot not to hire CBP. I dare say no one is that dumb.

Remember he joined midway through Martin's first season and has been promoting him ever since. He even has the lifesize photo of Cuonzo as his trademark! You are messing with the wrong dude. I am a former drill sergeant! By the way I also coached a lot of basketball!
