I think he was saying not every QB/DB will be that efficient as a QB. Many of the athlete type QBs don't work at QB like Nick did. For every Marshall there are many that aren't QBs. That's like me saying Kam Chancellor worked pretty well at S (he was recruited similarly to how Jennings is as a QB/S)

Jennings is playing in the region championship basketball game right now on MyTV30 versus Siegel.

Watched him in person last night. Very good athlete. Had one of the best dunks I have ever seen from a high school kid. Very explosive and quick. Can definitely see SEC football talent in him.

Tennessee is recruiting him and want to get him back on campus and to camp this summer.

I personally believe he has a ways to go as a quarterback as right now projects better to WR, safety or maybe even a linebacker position.

He is just so raw at quarterback, but he's a terrific athlete. He actually led his team to the state semifinals today in basketball.

Take this completely FWIW... To make a long story short, I hear OSU is now out of the running. Apparently, Jennings/his family was insulted by Urbie walking over and asking the guide/host, "who is this?" From what I hear, Urban had just spoken to one of the Jennings on the phone. I'm surprised he didn't try to salvage it by allowing Hernandez to make his one call.

I think it depends on how he does this year. UT may not be willing to promise him a real shot at QB if they know he would not be competitive there. I could see some smaller schools possibly take him as a QB. If he really wants to play QB, he may be willing to consider smaller programs. Maybe like an MTSU or Memphis.

He would be unbelievable at free safety after seeing him a few times on the court. A take for sure.
