Ok guys get ready to sacrifice me after reading my comments, as if I care what any of you say. ..
Hurd put up great numbers in high school, he has great size (for a safety lol).There is noone here that hopes he becomes an explosive back anymore than I do, God knows we need one. He has great speed, great balance and good footwork. On the other hand, ive never heard anyone describe his running style as physical. I, for one, have seen his highlights and ive seen him in person. He out runs a lot more people than he runs over.. that being said SO DID REGGIE BUSH. Im sure that he will take these comments and use them for motivation and that is to every Vol fans advantage. .. so as for me, im glad they said it! If he was "soft" before, I can assure you that after these comments he will make sure people notice his physicality.

When I saw this I was hoping it was someone from USCe so we could watch Jalen punish them. After seeing it was Tee it pisses me off even more. There is no other way to put this so I'm gonna just say it...Tee is acting like a B!&CH. You would think that Tee would cheer on his alma matter as long as he wasn't coaching against us. Instead he seems to have disdain for us. Seems like a low character statement and that is disappointing.

Peyton Mannings name carries more weight in the football world than possibly any other vol to play. You're kidding yourself if you don't think peytons Tennessee teams didn't lay the foundation for that 98 team's success. By the way, I can't recall ever reading a quote from a recruit that said "wow Tennessee is where tee martin went". Nobody outside of our fan base even remembers who this guy is. I'm not bashing Tee, but to say he was somehow better than Manning is a joke.

Why is Peyton brought up here? I don't care if Tee said it or not. He is a coach at another school. What he says means nothing at UT.

I don't think we should burn his jersey but when you bad mouth a recruit from your alma mater you are going to catch some backlash. Definitely some sour grapes here. If you don't want Vol fans talking trash about you, don't talk trash about Tennessee's current players.
