One would think they'd figure out that trying to out-right each other in the primaries translates to a whoopin' in the general and they can't walk it back to appear moderate.
$10 says it happens again in the run up to 2016.
You do know a final split in the GOP is inevitable. The Conservatives aren't going to sit back and take the treatment they're getting for much longer.

If they could keep their traps shut on the so-called social issues the Dems wouldn't have a chance. You would see an energized base going to the polls in droves.
