Bruce Feldman believes UT will win the SEC East within the next 3 years.

We damn well better!

Who is going to stop us? Missouri? Can't recruit at elite SEC level. South Carolina? Headed for a lull. Georgia? Chronic underachievers? Vandy? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Florida? Maybe, but they seem headed for a rebuild.

I understand the Knoxville folks not being the biggest fans of this, but throw us Midstate fans a bone every now and again.

Seeing a game in Nashville without having to suffer in Vandy's hole of a stadium is gonna be nice.

I know I will get labled not a VFL for this but it's hard for me to sit through an entire game at Neyland. I'm a big guy and I have back problems. Sitting in Neyland with 100,000+ sitting around me is like torture. It's just physically difficult to do.

LP field is a totally different story. Much more spacious and comfortable so I'm looking forward to the '15 game there.

I think I may have identified your problem, and I capitalized it above.

Neyland ain't for sittin. VFLs stand and scream.

JK. Kinda.

Nothing wrong with that. If you're gonna pay money for a ticket, might as well be comfortable. I wouldn't even hate if you said no stadium was comfortable and you prefer to watch the games on your couch.

I think a nickel corner or outside corner if coleman moves inside is a definite - but that is the only definite

they will be all over the 2 deep though and that is where I think the presence will most be felt - our starters played a lot of snaps last last year and some of their struggles were due to this (see guys like AJ) - we will have depth and a lot of athleticism at that depth

but several could end up starting - SS, CB, NB, DE, OLB - all are possibilities for a FR to come in

Absolutely, and injuries always push other guys into action.

I hate injuries, but they always happen. I can say for sure that I feel way better about our depth this year than last year. They're a young, inexperienced group, but, Mother of Mercy, they've got some talent.

LOL I gotcha. I'm definitely the stand and scream type fan. Literally almost got in a fight at the Music City Miracle game because the guy behind us kept telling everybody to sit down and threatened that he was gonna "hit me" if I didn't sit down. Like I said, I'm a big guy........ lol. Besides that, it was the MUSIC CITY MIRACLE!! Who sits at a game like that. I told him to watch the game at home from the couch.

And no, I wasn't being a jerk and standing ALL the time, but that was an exciting game!! 90% of the stadium was standing up.

Heres to hoping AJ Johnson continues to make strides and is the hard nosed, fiery, leader a Mike backer should be

Would love to see him stop grabbing shoulder pads and get a targeting penalty or two as Breaker said.....

104.5 had big Al Wilson on this morning and that guy is just all class. One of the best, if not THE best team leader the Vols have ever had. If AJ can be half the team leader this year that Al was his Sr year I would be thrilled.

Hearing Al, and seeing all the things posted by Ron today such as what a great leader North is becoming gives me chills. I'm so ready for TN football to be BACK!!

Do not feel bad. I have similar problems. Only I can not stand much either due to very bad peripheral neuropathy. Try to catch a game occasionally . Watch most at home.

Hard to pass up the HD flat screen on the couch or recliner when you have health/physical problems.

How does Butch and his staff compare to Kiffin and his crew? Who's the better recruiter?

I would say Jones and here's why. Jones' relentless has been more than just making a splash.

Certainly they did with a motorcade to Malone's house and other things. But Butch writes recruits notes all year long. There are some weeks he will write a kid 5 days a week. He writes, texts, direct messages, recruits every day of the year. When he wasn't on the phone or doing an interview on Wednesday, he was writing prospects handwritten notes.

So I would say Jones because it's not just the flashy stuff that he does, but it's also the little details that he doesn't miss.

Good question and Kiffin was/is relentless as well. I'm not going to sell him short of that. But Jones' commitment to the details is impressive.
