'14 CA CB Adoree' Jackson (Signed with USC)

That is a completely different deal. Adoree lives in Cali...why would his parents not go to where he lives to be with him on NSD?

I understand doing things for arguments sake, but you tried to call me out on something, out of context. Now you have reached with finger tips to continue to make me look like I am just bashing Hubbs because it wasn't good new. You can stop now.

You said the guy was piss poor at his job and called him an idiot.

I don't have to make it "look" like you're bashing Hubbs. You're doing a fine job of it yourself.

Hubbs' tweet really didn't say anything new, other than USC having the last visit, and yes, that is a cause for some concern.

I'm not downing Hubbs either (because he is easily the most reliable out there), but I think we've all assumed it was going to set up well with USC the whole time. They SHOULD be the favorites. I still don't see him as a Trojan lock, though.

Once again, cherry picking from a quote. You implied I was bashing him because it wasn't good new. I bashed him because he is doing his job poorly...

You have admitted it would be weird if his parents weren't with him on NSD...So to use that information, and make it a USC positive is being bad at his job. THAT is why I am bashing him.

Yeah that's true.

Idk for some reason it's just a pet peeve of mine when people say the recruiting sites & Hubbs & co are "idiots" when stuff comes out that's no exactly positive for UT. But if it was pro UT the same people would be heaping praise on Hubbs & co.

I shouldn't let it bother me but it just gets old.

yeah, but i also dont get why people are sad because of what Hubbs said. he stated obvious things. we knew he is visiting USC. we knew his parents would be with him on NSD, and we knew his HS is a USC pipeline. at first everyone was like "as long as its not UF, im happy" and Hubbs posts this and those people are upset lol

Fair enough. It's not a big deal anyways..should have never addressed it.

Moving along.

Why would it NOT be positive for USC? He's taking an OV there this weekend, his parents will be with him, he's announcing a few days later. Getting the last visit in recruiting is a big deal.

Why would he be joking? Hubbs is as good as it gets. He was answering a question about AJ visiting USC this weekend. You don't like his honest answer and he's a hack? Nah.

Let me try and explain this to use as well. You are an intelligent, reasonable human, so you may get what I'm saying.

To take information, such as a parent, or parents, being with their child...in a location where their child lives, on NSD... That just isn't news. That doesn't make it any better for USC, or worse for UT, UF...or anyone else. To take something that common, and make it seem like a USC lock. That's not solid work...

tis the emotions of someone that follows recruiting as closely as this fan base does man..ish is crazy.

Not sure if joking...

I'm dead serious. I would guess that 95% of the people that have followed UT recruiting for a good amount of time would tell you the same.

I was speaking strictly about UT recruiting. Hubbs > scout, Rucker, Ainge, 247, Swain, Hooker, X, etc.

it's a mystery

Sometimes, it's right in front of you.

Most recruits seem to like usc more now that kiffy is gone. Not sure why some felt Adoree would be different.

What I posted from Hubbs wasn't from an article. He answers dozens of questions daily that people ask on their board. All he said was it sets up nicely for USC, which it does, doesn't it? Wouldn't you be excited if you were a USC fan and you were getting the last OV, a few days before NSD? With parents in town?

In that scenario, against those other people, sure, I agree. But I think Hubbs has a nature to make mountains out of mole hills, while down playing some bigger issue at the same time. Confusing...I know.

I would be excited about getting the last OV, thats for sure.

I guess I just took that quote of Hubbs, as hime putting emphasis on his parents hanging around in cali tip NSD, as a good sign for USC. Maybe I just took it wrong. I don't think his parents hanging around is any indication as to where he is going.

I don't think Hubbs was saying his parents being in Cali is a good sign for USC but rather a good thing for USC. He's not saying USC lock and his parents are there to celebrate now. He's saying anytime a kid takes an OV to your school and brings his parents just a few days before NSD it's good for their chances.

Enjoying yourself, Leb?

Not really, I screwed that post up pretty good. :p I was attempting to post the pic in the OP, but it did not show up in my quote.

Adoree staying out west does not really bother me as I honestly thought he was going to do just that. Some will call it a bad loss, but he was never leaning our way at all. The class is program changing as it is. Maybe better in that the coaches can camp in front of the Hendrix/Barnett homes till NSD.
