OrangeHammer as long as you aren't Close2Adoree I guess I'll buy what you are saying. I'm skeptical a little just because as a TN fan I've known disappointment too frequently lately.

One more thing that I will say to add to my theory with my post above… I think he gave the coaches a silent commit a long time ago, and told them if word got out, then it might hurt our chances, because he would feel that he could not trust them entirely. I think that is what OrangeHammer is referring to about hurting our chances if he told us some other details. This means that the coaches cannot even tell Hubbs or Fortenberry. It's why Hubbs thinks we are in it until the end, but that he signs elsewhere. The coaches are telling Hubbs they like where we are, but that they are worried with LSU getting him in the end. In order to keep pressure off of him out west, AJ doesn't want anything to leak until he makes his choice on NSD. It will come as a surprise even to Hubbs on NSD.

Agreed. Butch Jones and his staff couldn't have recruited him any better. Our chances are just as good as anyones and it wouldn't surprised me if he shocked the world and chose the Vols on NSD.

I'll be honest the silent commit theory has actually popped into my head. Didn't want to say anything because ppl would think that I'm crazy.:crazy:

Since we are tossing around theories now, Im gonna say that Payne just got wind of a new DB commit. And since we are only pursuing Adoree, he must have just silently committed.

The other thought would be that Derrell Scott has seen enough after the Florida visit, and committed to lock in his spot before Williams visits this weekend. If Williams cancels the OV this weekend, then I think that will be a great sign with Scott.

"Had Chik-Fil-A for lunch today. After not being available yesterday, I was able to get in contact with the girl at the register while ordering a spicy chicken w/cheese. Though she claims to not be scheduled on Feb. 5th, sources say there is good reason to believe that CFA will be open that day. Will keep you all updated with developments on this."
