He wouldn't start Day One. He would be behind Lane and Hurd Day One if a RB. He would be behind Pig and DY if slot/APB Day One. He couldn't even crack the 5 deep at Bama. But it is all moot since he will not be in the SEC.

I don't think he would start at RB either but I think he would get a good amount of carries. And the same goes for the slot position. Side note: I'm not counting out Jenkins to get quite a bit of run in the slot this year depending on how well he has progressed. I really like his potential, he's a guy that can stretch the field.

Ah ok. I don't blame the guy at all for wanting to transfer, just wish he would have thought it out more before going to bama bc I think we may have got him (more likely would have been a dawg but we would've had a better shot). I think everyone but him saw this as a stong possibility from the time he signed. Oh well live and learn.

This kid was one of my favorite running backs in last year's class. I still think he'll end up being a stud wherever he goes. His departure had been coming for months. He was told he could play running back and when he showed up they put him at wide receiver. The relationship was damaged from the get-go and now he's back on the market. Because of his close friendship with Lorenzo Carter (his former teammate) it probably also cost Alabama him as well.
