After reading Adam Gorneys report from earlier on VQ and now this latest report from the war room. It's hard not to like UT's chances here. Both reports stressed that family was a huge influence and that the family really likes UT, would prefer he go close to home, and has some UT ties. Knoxville is half the distance that Gainesville is from East St. Louis.

I was most worried about LSU but if they're out, combined with the family wanting him close, I see a huge boom for Vol fans on NSD. Incredible job by our staff if that happens.

The Neon Deion reference has me fired up at 12AM.

I have only seen one player in my lifetime that was like Sanders.

Not even CP was on his level in my opinion.

He was just some damn amazing to watch...

If this guy does commit and even scratches the surface of what Sanders could do we have a stud.

Sanders was a game changer. Took literally half the field away. HALF.

Florida has been recruiting him for 4 years in track, he's established a relationship with their track coach and says they talk multiple times per week. That's my biggest worry.

Fix our track program!

I agree with this. My big Takeaway from today's reports is that LSU appears to be fading from the picture. Of the other schools in it for AJ, I was most concerned about them. Really encouraged after reading those updates. Looking forward to hearing the reaction of Hammer's source.

I don't understand that he isn't a team guy talk either. Every interview I've seen he's sounded like a great kid. Nothing to make me think he's a bad teammate, me first guy.

I definitely see the me-first, I just don't see that as a problem. In my opinion, it just gives him one more reason to be the best player.

People are just saying that to feel better in the event that he doesn't come here. Preemptive scapegoat IMO.

I will crack up. And she will look up and see me on my phone and roll her eyes and say something like " let me guess, another one of those video clips?" So I go show her of course. She forgets to laugh

I don't think he's a Me type of guy. I just think he has a lot of personality and confidence. He has a swagger, we need that kind of attitude. From everything I've seen he's a good kid. No worry at all about him being a cancer. His coach said players gravitate to him. His personality isn't all that different than big Charles.

Not at all, the kid sticks to his studies also, has a 3.7 GPA.
