Cruz had another injury setback and had to vacate his title yesterday. Urijah is stepping in to face Barao on the Super Bowl weekend card.

I despise Cruz, but I still hate to see a guy's career go down the tubes because of injuries.

His last fight was his win against Demetrious Johnson in October of 2011.

He might actually be worse. I remember watching the Faber-Cruz fight live thinking Cruz won it 3 rounds to 2. Then, after the fight, Urijah's face didn't have a single mark on it. After I went back and re-watched the fight, I was astounded. Cruz did absolutely nothing of substance in the fight. He scored a couple of takedowns, but he could never gain control on the ground and they were back standing within 10 seconds. I honestly think Barao would have destroyed him.

I was actually thinking about Huerta the other day...he was supposed to be a big up and comer and just disappeared. Last fight I remember was that awesome Guida one.

I think the S.I. cover went to his head a little, Iirc he "retired" to pursue an acting career. I've seen him in Bellator a couple times. He lost semi recently via soccer kick.

Yeah. Rockhold and Costas Phillippou are the headliners, should be a decent fight. Larkin is fun to watch, as is Dillashaw though I can't stand that guy.

Rockhold looked great last night. I hope he gets booked for another fight quickly. That was just his second fight in the UFC.
