Whose to say they aren't willing to sacrifice another three years until he gets drafted? Then they can actually move to wherever he plays and see every game.

Richt isnt a good example as he has never went 4-8. Id prefer Richt over Muschamp any and every day if the week.

Wow. For a while I had high hopes for 247, I thought they would become the biggest and most respected service. Then they threw away their professionalism for subs and it backfired.

I think they have good analysts, but I think 247 is becoming way too political. That is JMO and I don't have many facts to substantiate the claim.

However, just based on their newest rankings, it seems like they are giving way too much love to recruits that either (1) committed to a major, relevant program or (2) performed well in a nationally televised all-star game.

I know a lot of folks on here had their reasons to believe 247 would be better. I didn't and still don't. The system Rivals runs is better than the individual parts (analysts). Those guys come and go at all the services. Rivals still has their smaller issues, but they there are no major glaring problems like you have with the others.

When a new business starts there is a great deal of bending and stretching involved to generate enough interest and revenue to make it. Poor decisions get made sometimes when the competition is tough. That's where 247 is IMO. They thought the composite would be a new wrinkle to give them an edge. All it did was lower their value IMO.

I just wanted to point out that I completely agree. There are a couple guys that I just don't see how their rated above AJ. The analysts have said they take into account a player's potential, which is why I can understand some of the players being above AJ, but not all of them.

Maybe this is my ignorance or proves that I'm not a scout, but IMO, if you give me a choice of AJ and Tabor, I'm taking AJ. I feel like Humphrey is so high because of his height and recorded speed. Based on the televised games, I didn't see Humphrey out-perform Tabor or AJ.

The only thing I can think of is that AJ is listed at 5'9.5" and these analysts freak out if they see a CB shorter than 5'10

My guy is going with CBJ and Co to visit AJ during his in home. Lots of good things going on surrounding recruitment but couldnt be specific in fear of too much info getting out. IN GREAT SHAPE is all I can say. Tifwiw

CMR is too loyal. Bobo and Friend should be gone. He only fired Willie bc admin forced his hand. My post wasnt comparing them as a coach but Im pretty sure you knew that.

I still prefer rivals overall as well.

also Can't believe 247 likes Elam so much. He was also one of the worst performers all week at US Army AA week
