'14 CA CB Adoree' Jackson (Signed with USC)

Hubbs also said FSU was a the top with lsu last week. AJ has all us guessing and throwing out top 3's. Kid is good on the field and social media.

yeah im not saying this is the case, just saying thats what the top 3 are with process of elimination based off of what they said. i wonder if Adoree dropped FSU because his spot in no longer available, considering they have 29 commits and are expecting your WR to flip to them. They were recruiting Jackson as a WR werent they?

asked Newberg and he said AJ was a take. He added that despite the ov and what AJ was saying FSU never thought they were a player. They never sent a coach out west during contact period.

I would agree that another guy in the trenches would be preferable if this were just another WR or CB. Jackson is such a weapon anywhere though that could give you a weapon on offense, defense, and STs. Kid would be an immediate starter at KR and PR and likely would see some offensive snaps regardless of his position. We just do not have his kind of speed right now.

Is AJ a top level recruit? Sure. However the difference between him and our current recruits is not as great as the difference would be between a top level defensive tackle and our current crop.

Games are won in the trenches. We are desperately lacking there.

hmmm... AJs recruitment is definitely interesting. i cant remember, but im not sure we sent a coach out west yet either. any body know?

I think hubbs would say anything to sell subscriptions this time of year. I know we are top 6 but we have nothing to go on besides Adoree's tweets until after the in home visits.

I had a sub with them for a few years. That's not how they roll. Hubbs doesn't say stuff just to say it. He's very guarded in what he says.

Well, Adoree was the clearly pulling for FSU last night. I saw him post a couple things on twitter. Plus, they are the National Champions so I wouldn't count them totally out.

If he eliminated them, he eliminated them. He was probably pulling for them because FSU was one of the semifinalists for him while Auburn doesn't even show up as offering him a scholarship.

Except for the fact they didn't make the cut of his top 6. They are as close to being out as you can be.

Not a completely ridiculous statement.

Yeah it kind of is. AJ is one of those world class athletes that only comes around once in awhile. There is no way you turn a player like him away. i mean people were not saying things like that about CP were they?

He did say "top DL/OL." One could argue he meant a top 10 DL/OL prospect, in which case there would be a serious debate if there were one spot.

I'm the one who said it was a false dilemma anyhow and we would take both.

Heres my over analyzing cool story bro.

just looked at his crystal ball predictions. there are no more LSU predictions. UCLA got a prediction on the 4th. a lot of the people who picked UF switched their predictions to USC. UF is down to 16%. i know that nobody knows where he is going, but this is strange to me. also on 247, USC and UF are listed as "warmer", and Tennessee is the first listed as "warm". dont they usually list the "warm" schools in alphabetical order, unless the recruit says the order of his final schools 82% USC - 16% UF - 2% UCLA

Lorenzo Carter's "cool" schools are not in alphabetical. Florida State then Alabama.

I think he really likes all of the schools but he stays in LA IMO it's USC/UCLA in the end. Hope I'm wrong though.
