North will take a big step forward next year IMO. He was actually further along than I thought he would be as a freshman considering that he wasn't an EE and mostly played RB in high school IIRC. He's got so much potential tho and Malone does as well. It's going to be fun watching them progress over the next few years with Pearson in there for a year or two as well. When Malone, North, and Helm all put it together it's going to be exciting to watch (especially with Hurd in there at RB). I'm so pumped about how good this offense could be in the future with this class coming in.

I caught the sarcasm, but went ahead with my opinion. I mean, I did add in his impressive return avg after all...lol. If he never fields another kick it'll be too soon :)

I remember Hefney vs UF in '05. Maybe another vs UF IN '07

Seems like we dropped at least one a game one season. When was that? 2008?

Seemed like there was a period of 2-3 years that we couldn't field a punt. It was in the 2005-2008 range.

Sounds about right. Following those debacles, I was literally satisfied with guys back there and just catching the punt. Now, we could use a difference maker.

Yep, it was nerve-racking every time a team lined up to punt for a while. I think we will have a difference maker on campus next season no problem...
