Career change/advice

SDV, have you considered practicing law in an area that would benefit those in need (many different ways to go from there)? I am a firm believer that one of the greatest blessings in life is to be able to work in a field that you enjoy, provide for your family, AND help those less fortunate or unable to take care of themselves.

I have. I would love to do adoption law. My cousin's wife does it and loves it. She said it is very easy and feels like she is making a difference in people's lives.

Sounds like an excellent choice, especially if you can make a decent living doing it. Our church does a lot to support adoption and I would love to do more. My wife and I have discussed it but just don't feel called to do so right now, with 3 kids already

Went on a tour of a vineyard with the wife. One of the free samples they offered was of a wine slushy. It was actually really good.

Those should def be sold at all gas stations.

that always cracked me up, the drive thrus, and them putting a piece of tape over the straw hole
