Come on fellas, don't lump all young guys in the same boat. I'm 21 and I'd like to think that I'm not an arrogant prick. But I don't graduate until next spring, so maybe I will turn into an arrogant prick then. :)

My post might have painted with broad strokes but it was not intended to lump an entire segment of people into one stereotype. I will say, however, I have seen my fair share of college graduates who had to be humbled before they realized experience is often as useful a trait as education, if not more so in certain positions.

While the degree will get you the interview, more often than not, those that do the hiring want as high a quality team player as they do a productive team player.

For reference:

Da'Rick Rogers vs. Justin Hunter.

If you had to choose just one, who do you take?

Da'Rick everyday and twice on Sunday.

The sad part in all of this is coaches have way to much control. If they recruit a kid and he does not pan out I believe the kid should be able to transfer without penalty.

There is a push to remove the penalty and have seen a sample proposal that wants any player that has attended a university for two years should be allowed to transfer without penalty. Sometimes it just does not work out for either side. Why not let the kid leave and go where he wants.

Good concept, but an incredible can of worms.

After sophomore year, kids would essentially be free agents in college. Coaches have to recruit their own players to keep them from leaving, players threatening to transfer, and heaven only knows how dirty the boosters would get.

You just can't do that

Wtf is going on here? AK was only suspended for a game is there anything more here to talk about?

Okay, I just wasn't sure what she meant since she was pro-Dooley and all.

I always want yall to remember this........ I am pro Dooley....I always have been, however, I do like many many many of the changes I have seen, and I have established some good relationships and we've moved forward.

The real question is, why are so many ppl still mentioning Dooley, with all the hype around cbj & staff? Now that doesn't sit well with me.lol Dooley era is over. CBJ busting his tail to "restore" us, with all the p.r. and heavy recruiting class.......let this man do what he came here to do and move on

luv yall...lata

Generally upbeat with an occasional snark attack. lol. Confident for 2015 on and hoping for a little better in 2014, realizing youth and inexperience will be big factors. A solid QB that can get it done is on everybody's wish list, just like it is for Jason we are sure. Need for him to heal well. Recruiting has been the main reason for the optimism, but the overall character, grades, stability, etc. have helped as well. Seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

We still mention Kiffin. The Dooley nonsense won't stop until we are back. Unfortunate but true. Cheers to better days.
