If he goes to Auburn they got a great player. If he comes to UT he'll be a great player. Goes to show what some good results on the field can do for you on the recruiting front.

FWIW, they were saying the same kind of stuff when Lambert originally committed, and VQ had a video interview talking about his commitment that was recorded 3 weeks prior.

It would be nice to get an extra "All Vol", but there is no reason to believe the 247 Tennessee guys have a great feel on this recruitment.

Could be why they are going off of what Niebuhr is saying. Callahan and Kipp Adams were defending Niebuhr pretty strong when Vol fans challenged his assessment. And their free subscription is running out in a couple of weeks. Who knows. Just want to get Lambert's name on a NLI and call it a day.

Like I said in another post, if the staff knows and has received his LOI they would outta respect for D Lambert keep it quite til 3 so he can have his time with friends and family!
