Until it's proven he absolutely cannot get it done, Tennessee is going to recruit Jennings as a quarterback.*

Honestly, I've come around to him being taken as a QB. Not that it matters.

He's got all the tools. He's just incredibly raw. A good project to have, IMO.

He got dunked on pretty bad the other day against Siegel.... This was the front page of the DNJ..

I used to dunk on fools all the time after school on the playground. I skyed on em like Jordan. I'd come down the lane, they be like "Get out the way, that train don't ever stop." Slam on a few cats, they'd start crying, call their mom to calm them down and pick them up. The point I'm making is, eventually they got over me throwing down the hardest dunks you ever seen. So Jauan should have no time getting over that weak stuff

What does "until its proven he can't get it done" mean????

I Am not following that logic

When and how would he prove that?

I was a little confused by the wording as well. Not really sure how they want people to take that, but I took it to mean until he proves via his play that he's arguably a better prospect at a position other than QB.

Not sure he was the best QB in Rutherford Co. He is an athlete but better suited for another position.

??? Please tell me who was better.

Seems like all the coaches in the county disagree with you, naming him Offensive MVP.

He was MVP because he could kill you with his feet because he was an athlete. Siegel and LaVergne QB's were both good, and on JJ's level of passing. I want to sign JJ, just not at QB.

I am failing to see how being on the same level as those QBs and being a better athlete than them somehow equates to being a lesser QB.

Lol @ everyone saying he wasn't the best in the county. Watched all his games and most of his practices. Dude is a beast. He has a big arm. Problem is you don't know where he may throw it as evidenced in the Maryville game. He threw 3 ints. 2 of which led to 14 points. Difference in the game.

The kid is raw. If someone could harness his arm while having the run threat, he could be Tony Robinson good.

Same way Michael Vick is a better athlete but lesser QB compared to Peyton

Just for example

Dakota Crane had better numbers and I don't think he has any scholarship offers. I saw JJ play twice and it amazes me he is considered a QB at the SEC level. He is much more suited at SS.

wow! Glad you aren't a talent evaluator on our staff. Numbers aren't everything. Siegel throws it a bunch so naturally he would have more yards. There are NO situations that Crane is a better QB than JJ.
