'14 JUCO DT Davonte Lambert (Auburn Commit 12/18/13)

Going to be a tiger then.

Not going to be surprised to hear the VQ guys saying he isn't reachable or he is very short with them after the visit today

The AU hotboard that put him being a Tiger at 35% is a farce.

Also, Brent and Paul have said nothing worrisome about Lambert. Given their conservative nature, it is a pretty safe guess to say that they know more than anyone else. Remember they had the Lambert commitment story 3 weeks before the commitment, while everyone else thought Florida or UGA.

I know what you're saying and its apples and hand grenades but they had a Gabe Wright article written, too. I never count Auburn out of anything especially this year.

That is the only time that they have really been dead wrong. The big issue with Wright is that he told VQ directly he was signing with Tennessee and he was also telling the coaching staff the same thing, so VQ was getting the Vol message from both sides.

I don't think Lambert is going to straight up lie like that. He isn't Columbus trash.

Auburn rivals. Not rivals.

HUGE difference.

Exactly. Those percentages SCtiger is talking about is from Auburn Rivals "Hot Board" which they update weekly for offensive and defensive players. It's basically a wish list with about 50 guys, most committed to other schools. And each guys has 15-50% assigned to him as the possibility to flip. It's not to be taken seriously. Many of our commits are on this board; McDowell, Hendrix, Thomas, Lambert, Blair and Mosley. An example of why it's not to be taken seriously, they still have Darrell Williams and Abu Lamin at 15%. 15% appears to = no shot. And 35% = has taken calls in the past.

To sum it up, those percentages are meaningless from what I can tell.

Rivals said he wasn't flipping just a few days ago

Now they are giving it a decent shot.

He is now saying his inhome with auburn went very well and a final decision is Wednesday after all week saying he was a vol.

Sounds like a hell of a lot of reason to worry to me

It will be interesting to see what he tells VQ. Like I posted it won't surprise me if he isn't reachable

I get what you're saying because I have my doubts now as well, but let's just wait and see what the VQ guys have to say.

True. Do we have any Columbus guys on this team? I don't think we're recruiting any this year that I can recall.

What makes you think he isn't capable of lying to VQ??

He obviously is interested in auburn or not man enough to tell them they aren't welcome in his home.

Have the VQ guys said anything recently? TIA

My question is what % was lambert before last nights visit??

Last I saw the auburn rivals guys said he was very unlikely to flip

Same as they've been saying. Haven't seen any comments today. Unless Lambert is pulling a fast one and lying to VQ and the staff, he's all Vol. Could he be lying and flip at the last minute? Sure, but so could every other recruit. I'm not worried.

Getting nervous over those auburn rivals percentages is hilarious.
