I don't think anyone is really waiting and wondering if Mack is gonna go. That part is all over but the shouting. He's gone. So the official announcement isn't going to change much on the Bama sites, it will simply shift all the focus for Texas fans.

But everyone knows no news will pop up about Saban until Mack is gone. Once Mack is gone, it COULD be a time bomb waiting to happen.

note: I still dont think Saban will leave bama

You think that the Bammers aren't worried since the ball is rolling now, so to speak?

Brown is all but gone, and Saban has a extension on his desk. I'd be worried as a Bammer.

I don't know how my point was so easy to miss...

Everyone knows Brown is done. His official resignation/retirement/termination isn't going to suddenly make Bama fans go "Oh my God! It's actually happening!" Everyone knows Brown is gone, and everyone knows Texas will put a contract in front of Saban.

Yea Tidefans is a good free board. The Fascism on that board makes me sick though. I was on it the other day and the Mods shut a Saban to Texas Thread down. They have a sticky that reads "No more post from LSU fans":eek:lol:

You said all the focus will be on Texas. That was your point and I didn't miss it. But you are wrong about the focus part, because all eyes will be on Saban and Texas.

All this would be even more hilarious if nothing happens, Mack is coaching at Texas next year, Saban stays right where he is, and all involved get raises.

While that would provide the lulz, there is absolutely no chance that Mack Brown is coaching Texas next year.
