'14 TX DE Dimarya Mixon (UT commit 11/9/13)

He would still have 5 years to play 4, but I don't see a 19 year old kid, who has already sat out a year, to sit around until he is 20 years old before he enters college and begins to play football. Waiting two years to follow a dream is a long wait.

If the kid past his way and begin to play this next fall, I can see what the point is.

When will Rivals rank him? He should atleast be a 3* and that would help our star average even more. Our average has soared since Johnson and Dews got their's. With offees from UT, Ok and Ok St. he should atleast be a 3* on Rivals.

He won't be ranked on Rivals this year because he hasn't been a part of any team or played on any level this year.

He's basically a grey shirt from last class. Signed with Nebraska but didn't make the grades, needed a test score or something.

Great. No worries, guys. I trust this staff. I'm excited about the D linemen we are getting. It seems we are following a model a little like Mizzou. Placing more emphasis on athleticism and a high motor than sheer size.

I wouldn't be surprised with out need at DL to be in the market for either a transfer OL/DL or one who ends up in a situation like Mixon/Dante Phillips.
