He's right. Auburn had some plays go their way and played their hearts out. Alabama is still the more talented team IMO.

You're prob right about more talented but, aub won and it's funny watching Finebaum squirm, he's still basically laughing aub off bc they were lucky to beat bama (at least that's how he tells it). Yeah, aub had a miracle to win vs uga but they were tied with bama and about to go to OT when they got that miracle. They still may have won in OT. The way Finebaum talks, aub has no business being in the seccg bc of their "luck." Pretty much every year the winner of the NC has a game or two that they could've lost and got "lucky." His head is just so far up saban's azz he can't admit they got straight up beat by aub. bama had their chances and couldn't put aub away.

I'm watching the SVP and Russillo show and SVP is talking about how unprofessional it was at times with the state attorney making light of it. Then SVP had Roger Cossack on and he said the same. Just watched part of it and I agree, this guy is making jokes. Wow.

Complete unprofessional approach to this presser for the state attorney.

I am embarrassed for the state of florida and disgusted that the tone of this presser has taken on a joking manner.

Sickening

Seeing a lot of people on Twitter who completely agree with you.

Expand? Didn't watch it all.

Lots of attempts at humor which I felt was complete unprofessional but that wasn't the biggest problem I had

He said there was 2 different men that had sex with the victim. Which immediately made me think she was a complete tramp.

Then 10minutes later. He explained it was her boyfriend. Which changes the perception in my mind of what actually happened.

He never explain was it 2 guys in one encounter or not.

He completely slammed the girl and maybe she deserved it but he was so all over the place that I have no idea what he was trying to say

Sickening!!

If I am a girl and raped I would never come forward after watching that fool

That's the first time I've ever seen that. I found it on the tigerdroppings link from google. And yes I'm contemplating whether I should quit the internet altogether after seeing that haha.

Mizzou's being way overlooked in the game and I think they beat Auburn.

I thought we had a chance against these two when the season started. Who'd a thunk they would be in Atlanta. Murderers row is the only true way to describe our schedule. Toughest ever and if not I would like to see one tougher.

I smell a complete dismissal seeing the cover up did not work

I thought the exact same thing. This guy is the state attorney? At times, he was joking like it was no big deal. His demeanor was just odd, imo. His biggest smile/joke came when they asked if this decision was hurried up bc of heisman voting. Playing dumb and laughing like he didn't know what they were talking about.

He then stated it was a reason they "moved so rapidly" with the investigation. Bad slip.

It seems like she was just crying wolf, but him acting like that in a press conference could cause other girls who were legitimately raped to not come forward. It's hard enough for many to say anything because they're worried about getting slandered without having that nationally broadcast.

I don't think we will ever know the full story on this one. I hate to be that guy but after watching that presser it made me feel like it didn't matter what the evidence was there was no way Winston was going to be charged. The way this entire case was handled from the beginning smells of shenanigans. I am in no way saying he was guilty or that I even think he was guilty but the way this was handled coupled by the presser I just watched puts off a bad vibe.

People should have listened to CBJ when he said team 117 had a thin margin of error in spring camp and then later implied that he had more depth at Cincy than at UT. Those preseason quotes made me limit my expectations. I also watched a lot of old Tennessee games and went back and rewatched the Spring game. The dearth of talent and depth on team 117 was glaring, relative to what we have had in the past. Despite the presence of a few NFL worthy players, team 117 may be one of the least talented teams we've fielded in a long time, when you consider the roster as a whole.

5-7 may actually have been close to our ceiling for wins. The USCe win is really impressive in retrospect.

Coach said early on that basically this team would go as far as Big Dan could. He didn't quite live up to what many thought he could do, but nevertheless, he was right. Margin of error was very small.

This also. He didn't seem to be very definitive answering quite a few of those questions. He also kept referring questions to the report they will release. The whole thing was just weird to me.

FTR, I AM NOT implying Winston is likely guilty or there was a possible cover up by the state attorney and others so get off my nuts. I'm just saying that PC was a bit odd.

I couldn't have said it better. I feel exactly the same as you.

Be careful though....BB will be in here to tell you you're crazy for even thinking that way and this is nothing but a case of a money hungry ho.

Here's the thing: based on the evidence I can't say whether she was or she wasn't so I find it pointless to even go down that path. What I can say is that this was handled piss poor. That press conference was just horrendous. Anyway, glad I'm not alone in my thinking on this one.

@patrickbrownTFP: RT @InsideUSC: Steve Sarkisian just announced Tee Martin officially on coaching staff #USC

m.twitter.com/patrickbrownTFP

Mrs Tee can be happy now

Where the hell did I say there's more to it? I simply said I wouldn't be surprised. You must have been working closely with the state attorney Mr Meggs to be so confident Winston is 100% innocent and the girl is 100% making all this up. You don't know any more than I do.

How is it so hard for you to consider there may be more to the story when a Heisman winning qb and a NC is on the line at a powerhouse school like fsu with hundreds of millions of dollars of potential revenue on the line? Who knows what all possibly went on behind the scenes among highly ranked state officials and big money booster's to keep Winston's name clear? Could the girl be a money hungry pos? Yes. Could there be more to the story if Winston wasn't a heisman candidate on the #1 team playing for a NC? Yes. So why don't you stop with your BS.

You're absolutely right. He is wrong.

Breakerboy believes he knows everything about this case. You're suggesting there may be more to this situation than meets the eye. He's sure there's not. And per usual, he uses his typical condescending bull**** to degrade somebody else's argument. Childish.

Seems like the last few pages would be more suited for the Around the NCAA Forum.

We never have trouble finding UT subjects to argue about in here. No need to add outside arguments as well.

Spot on. BB has knowledge about player quality and I really like his insight. But good Lawd is his delivery rude and condescending.

And don't get me started on how he acts if you disagree or respectfully call attention to something.

Oh well, different strokes for different folks.

Oh yay, another day of posts arguing over rape and validity of claims of rape....wish the Winston stuff had been released yesterday so it could have been overshadowed by Malone commitment.
