I am watching VU play right now and they ARE a bad team. Not close to being a top 25 team. They are not so bad that UT can sleepwalk and throw their helmet on the field and just win the game. If we play a solid game and protect the football, it should be a W and UK should be as well.

After Dooley was fired last year, Chaney rolled UK like we had been used to rolling them.

I'm just amazed they needed a jump pass and a wildcat double pass to beat UK.

On the flip side, Azibuke was one of the dudes trash talking UT and Tiny on twitter. I hate to see him hurt, as I was looking forward to seeing him get owned by our line. Truth be known he should have been out for targeting. Guess karma caught him....

That's what Vandy gets for not running out the clock on their previous possession. Karma's a b*tch.

All I can say is if we don't win our next 2 games, I'm going to be extremely disappointed. I expect us to go to a bowl this year after watching this game.

1) we are at home... At night
2) we are going for revenge on a rival.
3) it is senior night.
4) fighting for a bowl.
5) we have more talent than them, IMO
(FL and UGA absolutely handed them their games not to mention they're different teams than when we played them. Vandy had under 200 yards of offense against FL. And scored in the 30s. )
6) they don't have a fast qb.
7) little offense besides Matthews - who does scare me I admit. Seymour may be decent but Matthews is their team.
8) Butch has a great record off bye weeks
9) and perhaps most importantly we are Tennessee. They are Vanderbilt.

Really don't understand the media's love for Franklin and Vandy. They both suck. If you were just listening to parts of the game you'd think Vandy had scored 70 points and had about 600 yards total offense and had about 10 first team All-American players. It makes me want to go puke.
PS. I don't like KY either.

Switching back and forth between Duke/Miami, and Auburn/Georgia. Don't know how the referees thought that was an Auburn incomplete pass....
