Here is the thing, The Malone family was hesitant about signing the form with anybody. They wanted to continue to go about the process as quietly as possible. Obviously they felt good about a small group of schools to go forward with signing the papers to allow more access to certain coaches. The told everyone involved that there should be no tweets or announcements about this. They understood that this is a new loop hole and it would be misconstrood as a commitment or declaration which would lead to a damn circus. UT was fine with this and have been quietly working their plan. They were perfectly fine with this being a quiet process. Josh actually signed the papers days ago. With the info coming out, there was a danger that UT coaches would be to blame for the leak. Also with increased visibility there is a concern that Josh retreats into the background limiting acecess to coaches. Obviously by my post UT wasn't the reason the info went public.

The best part is the depth. North, Pig, Croom, Malone, Pearson, Johnson, Booth, Jenkins, Wharton, Carter, Smith. Possibly Berry as well. I am assuming Creamer plays LB or TE.

The offense will improve significantly next year.

The D will struggle but still be improved over this season.

I think D largely depends on these JUCOs, especially on the Dline which is scary.

I do think that our safeties are playing a watered down defense. I think after another offseason, they'll be much more solid. There have been way too many busts at that position IMO.

For anyone that knows... Is it the consensus that this info was leaked by FSU and not UT? Is it guaranteed that the Malone's will know who is responsible?

They leaked his commitment to Tennessee before he announced. IIRC, Barnett called Franklin to inform him of his decision, so Franklin turns around and tells the media 3 hours before Barnett's announcement. Typical Vandy sour grapes

They will be much better. Everyone but Moore is back. Watch the tape of McDowell, Gaulden and Kelly. Kelly will be definitely ready for the nickel if not outright starting. McNeil better get it together cause McDowell and Gaulden look more than ready as well. The whole secondary should be very improved with those guys as well as Payne, the Berrys and Moseley.
