'14 CA CB Adoree' Jackson (Signed with USC)

Its more positive than him going to Notre Dame...

Agreed but it should also tell us we are far from the top here.

We have a shot but its very very slim. Learning the real reason he is coming here should tell us that we are throwing a Hail Mary here to try to win this thing.

Gotta agree with Bruin here. Yes, it is positive that he is coming here, but his quotes didn't sound like he just had to make this trip. I hope that maybe we aren't getting all of the story, and the media twisted it a little to sound differently. Who knows. I will gladly eat a whole heap of crow if we land him. I could care less whether I'm right or wrong...just want the best and want to win a lot of games now!

Would you rather throw a Hail Mary and chance winning or take a knee and concede defeat? You throw the bomb!! Butch gon Butch. We got him!!!

Lol y'all are crazy if you think him visiting for a sold out gameday is not a positive

I'm not saying that it's not a positive. I am only saying that his quotes made it sound as if it is not a necessity to take this trip. I hope his eyes are opened and he gives Butch his brick on Sunday!

Nobody saying that having him here isn't positive.

We have a number of posters claiming the dad somehow is pushing him here due to the visit circumstances. That's the part that in no way should be spun as a positive

I can assure you that this visit is more than just a trip for him and his dad. Whether we land him or not it remains to be seen but their is legitimate interest and we have a running shot at him with CBJ as his lead recruiter.

 Ok then. I'll allow it! CBJ is straight :loco:

Where is this article? ESPN insider?

Here is the quote.

Jackson said he hasn't yet begun to rank his official visits and move schools within his top group. He said that's something he'll begin to do after the season. He'll also need to wait until he takes all of his visits, something he'll move closer to doing this weekend when he visits Tennessee. Jackson said his dad set the trip up with the Volunteers.

This visit comes as something of a surprise, as Jackson initially said that he couldn't take an official visit to any school that he unofficially visited over the summer. Although the Volunteers received an unofficial visit from the nation's No. 2 cornerback, he added that nothing significant should be read into this trip.

"It was between Tennessee and Notre Dame, but my dad couldn't get off the time to go to Notre Dame," Jackson said. "I want him to be able to take the trips with me, so we decided to go to Tennessee. I didn't want to double up, but at the end of the day, it's an official visit and I had to realize that for my family, it can be tough to get off work to take the trips."

I think it will be very interesting what Jackson and his father says after the game this weekend. I believe that his father wants Adoree to be at the school that will make the best use of his talents. Something about their previous visit must have intrigued his father so that he wanted to see and hear more. I for one believe that what his father wants will have a big impact on Adoree's decision. We have to hope that they are impressed with UT this weekend and the visit pushes us closer to the top or to the top.

The fact that we're getting a visit from this kid is remarkable. When Butch hosts him for his OV at his house and introduces he and his dad to Cuonzo (East St. Louis native) and Eric Berry, a commitment will not be surprising.

If you get them on campus there is always a chance. Hope the team and crowd shows up to play this week. When recruits show up for games, it's a game within a game.

Is this really happening? Hopefully so.

Meeting Coach Zo is very doable but EB is almost certainly classified as a booster these days. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure the two of them meeting would be a big-time NCAA no-no.

As long as it isn't "arranged" it's no issue at all
