Jonathan Martin (hey, he pushed me!)

Don't think Martin has the killer instinct in him needed for the nfl. Rather mindset. I watched the video of incognito in the bar and I actually said out loud I do. When he asked who wanted a piece. But then again I have the mindset for the nfl just not the body among other things needed. Lol

Tanneyhill just tweeted if u asked Martin two weeks ago who his best friend in the locker room was it would have been incognito

Actually after reading more on the dolphins mindset. I'm leaning more toward someone being coddled their entire life and not knowing how to stand up for them self. Or someone who was legitimately intimidated. But also someone who didn't want to be in Miami

What was he supposed to do? Punch the dude in the face?

@Josh_Ward: RT @HubbuchNYP: Hartline is outraged because he says Martin was passing the voicemail around earlier in the year and laughing about it.

I would hope most people would be more civilized and do what Martin did. Remove yourself from the situation or go to someone who you can talk to instead of resorting to violence.

Talk to your superiors and not throwing undeserved team mates under the bus would be a better start.

More and more Martin's side of things are looking sketchy. Did he hate playing and thought his ticket was a potential lawsuit? With virtually every Dolphin who has spoken on the matter coming out on Incognito's side it's hard to believe this is anything more than inappropriate but friendly hazing.

Frank wycheck had a caller this morning saying all this was going to be about something else and insinuated it could be martins sexuality in the locker room. Wy said he wasn't going to bring it up but since the caller did that that was along the lines of what he was told it was about.

You just know that Dr. Phil is dancing in the streets over this situation. Look for a series on "unhealthy codependent relationships in the workplace" on his show soon.... unless Oprah beats him to the punch.

I disagree.

Really ? I think and I'm being totally honest, most have a button that will eventually get pushed and they fight back. Maybe not physically but at least verbally or financially

Case in point my wife is the most friendly nicest person I know if someone has a problem w her it on them. She was being bullied at work and I kept telling her to stand up for herself. New job. She hit her breaking point and unleashed a verbal assault I don't think I could of handled. Now she is well respected and even considered someone who they can no longer do with out.

I think that's true for a lot of people, but there's a reason why they call it a "fight or flight" response. Some people just aren't programmed to fight back.

Completely agree. But he should have set his flight course to management first. Attempt to keep it in house first. He didn't do that. Martins career is over. I couldn't trust him next to me. He'll experience worse if he attempts to come back. He's now a black sheep. No pun intended on that at all.

So far I've seen that Martin has his agent, his lawyer, and a former college teammate on his side.

This sounds like bullying. It's not a surprise that incognito got support from his teammates and Martin didn't.

So everybody on his team is a bully? Or they are all just terrified to death of the bullies? I don't think either of those scenarios is likely.
