Malone & Lamin, Jackson would be an improvement anywhere but DT and given our class as it now stands that is the remaining greatest need. Malone because he is the prototype candidate for WRU.

are we allowed to have more than 30 commits this class? or is it that Butch Jones doesnt want to sign too many people for this class because it could hurt us in later years.

This is a football forum and here I read y'all's conversations about parenting and tweeting at recruits. Please stfu. I would like to read information if possible, and comment on it if I have something to add. Thanks

Do your parents know that you're on the internet? :)

Just kidding :hi:

Do they? :)

Josh will likely be in Tuscaloosa this Saturday. The Nictator has started to recruit Josh Malone relentlessly.

"I know that with the distance thing the coaches were working on her for most of the trip," Malone said. "Because they knew that's one of the things she didn't like. But she told me if I were there it would be fine as long as I was happy and stuff. We haven't talked about it too much but I feel like with the coaches talking to her and stuff that she got more comfortable with the idea."

"i'll put them up there because i enjoyed the visit and i felt really comfortable," malone said. "they're really up there and it was just really great to see the fsu program inside and out."

Someone posted earlier that he eliminated FSU, because of the distance factor.

That article makes that post seem like a lie.

I don't think anyone has a damn clue when it comes to Malone. FSU, Bama, UGA, and UT are all in this race.

Fsu is scary here. They have the best, and most long term qb of the teams hes looking at. we have unproven freshmen, georgia and bama are losing their great starters and they have winston whl will probably win the heisman and play in the title game. if i was unbiased i would be giving them a hard look too. dobbs needs to light it up and we need to win a bowl.

Winston's gone after next season....So depends on what you mean long term

If I take off the orange glasses, If I wasn't a UT fan, and didn't care too much about playing for the in-state school.... I'd be going to FSU all day. He would be almost guaranteed to put up huge numbers there and head to the league.

But, although he says distance might not be too big of a factor, when it comes down to putting pen to paper, I don't see him heading all the way to Tallahassee.

"The difference is the atmosphere is a lot more … it's just a better atmosphere and it wasn't like going through the motions of just doing things," said Malone, the state's second-ranked player with an offer list crowding 40. "They're doing things the right way."

"What sticks out really is how they played with a great team and all the time I got to spend with the coaches," said Malone, whose star first began to shine two years ago from his work with Nashville-based In Full Motion/Playmakers Academy. "That's good to see because it shows the coaches care about you, not just for four years but a lifetime. They're showing they're always going to be there for their players for a lifetime."

"I have a good relationship with butch. He's making me a priority and he keeps really appealing to me about rebuilding the program," Malone said. "As a player, you want to go to a place where you're needed and wanted."

Dobbs was his host on the boat trip and throughout campus.

"It was great. That was a good little set up," Malone said of the boat outing. "They had a Playstation 3 and we were just hanging around getting to know recruits and coaches."

"It was really just a good experience," Malone explained. "We went to the business school up there, which was real impressive too."

-John Brice

On Dobbs' message to Malone:

"(Dobbs) said that they've got a great coaching staff and all the guys respect them," said Malone, who intends to be a mid-term enrollee. "He was talking about this season, that it's the foundation. He was just telling me really that Tennessee is going to be a force, something to worry about in the future.

"It's appealing because it gives you the opportunity to come in and play early and make an instant impact. And it's a chance to contribute to building the hometown program back up."

-John Brice

I think we won the post visit interview in a blowout.

I see where you are coming from, but it is very far away. If you are good, you are good. He can make the league just as easily here, as there. Heck even at MTSU for that matter.

Yeah the way i stated it was a little confusing. i meant the guy whos played the longest and will still be there for some of his career. and you never know. maybe winston is there two more years. either way its alluring to play with a guy like that. If our TRUE freshman can show some of that flair thenthat will help tons.

Did the article state who his host at FSU was? Wonder if it was Jalen Ramsey?

I don't think it did. It's only about 15 or so posts up if I recall right. It said Malone eliminates FSU, because of distance. I was happy reading it, now I bet it was a troll, or someone severely misinformed.
