If we do end up with Jackson, he will be a corner, and it won't affect Payne, we need depth there regardless, plus I think Payne could easily slide inside and play nickel, on top that at this point Payne is family, he visits all the time UOV, he's always talking and chatting with Hurd, TK, vic. He also has been one of our better recruiters. He will be here! Actually one of my fav commits he's got a bit of confidence and swag to him. Which we need!

Let's cross our fingers on this one. If he does show up after taking a red eye to get to our noon game you have to feel pretty dang good about that. Especially when LSU is playing Bama this weekend.

Agree. If he shows up to the UT game this weekend you have to feel pretty good about our chances. Taking a redeye flight, after playing a HS game, to see UT/Auburn isn't something he would do if he weren't VERY interested in becoming a Vol.

Are we still telling him defense only or would we look at him at receiver? Malone, Pearson, and A. Jackson would be sweet at receiver to go along w North and Helm at TE next year.

Does anybody know if our newest commits the Berry bros and track guys are gonna be here to get in Jackson's ear? Seems like way back in this thread Adoree said he would not be taking officials to a school where he had already visited and yet he is visiting again, any thoughts?

I think that's an excellent point. If the kid shows and Hubbs doesn't go out on limbs with his reporting...but it seems he will be at the game then I think we are very much a real player. Can you imagine the Berry Twins with Adoree (and company)..holy crap...we would have zero complaints on speed with them on the roster.
