Did VIF Fall into the Fire Pit?

Me an you could drink together VIF, that Anderson Valley is good as chit.

I did not like the ska brown ale whatever I had though. Not good.
Barrel Trolley has a good Nut Brown Ale as well. If you like Anderson Valley Bourbon Barrel Stout you may also like Wilco Tango Foxtrot WTF it's a seasonal beer but Total Wine might have it in stock.
Here's where I ate in Tampa, VIF. Thx for your input many moons ago.

Hope you liked it 95. It's a landmark here and has mob ties from back in the day. Great Spanish cuisine.

The grouper was excellent. White chocolate bread pudding filled my 300 lb soul.

I wondered to my dinner party how many drug deals had been made there.

Then there is the Columbia. The Columbia Restaurant is THE Tampa landmark. And it was the favorite eating establishment of the enigmatic Santo Trafficante, Sr., as well as his son and namesake, Santo Jr. The elder Trafficante was a virtual unknown to law enforcement for most of the early 20th century. He stood back in the shadows, while men like Ignazio Antinori and Charlie Wall were well-known crime figures about town. When his son, Santo Jr., took over the family operations, he was also a regular fixture at the Columbia. It was also popular with FBI agents tailing the crime boss; dozens of field intelligence reports were recorded over plates of the "1905 Salad."

Trafficante, Jr.'s bodyguard James Costa Longo worked at the Columbia from the late 1950s through at least the early 70s, as well as at various other legitimate enterprises. This, of course, was in addition to his alleged bookmaking and stolen property rackets. Longo often used the Columbia as a meeting place, like in April of 1962 when he was spotted meeting with Santo Trafficante, Jr., and Lou Coticchia, a notorious Miami racketeer. The next time Lou had dinner with Trafficante, in Miami, he disappeared for good.

RV got out of bed last night to take these pics of Rocki and Topper snuggling next to me like they do every night. It's very hard to get out of bed at 4:50am when the hound dogs are snuggled in.

Do Rocky and Topper shed?
Do they stink?
I know you love them and their your children but thought you were OCD. I love my dogs but wouldn't let their ass on the pillow. :)

They shed a bit but it's short hair. Rocki has really bad allergies so she gets bathed at least twice a week with special shampoo. The other 2 get baths at least once a week so, no they don't stink. My OCD is ritualistic in nature (counting and geometric order etc) and only bacteriological in dining or social interactions. Hand washing, food prep and handling, hand shaking, kitchen cleanliness etc. It's more germ-a phobia than OCD, due to my wife's susceptibility to bacteria.

I have been doing research on my father and found a media guide from 1946 UT vs Kentucky. Dad played for General Neyland in 46 & 47. No face masks, 5'-10" 187 lb guard. I am ecstatic to find this media guide. GO VOLS. I love Tennessee. Dad is on the bottom right. Nobody ever smiled in pictures back then. :good!:

That awesome VIF.

I learned the game of football from my grandfather and his friend Boyd Smith. My grandfather was a football official in the 40's and 50's. Boyd played for the General in the 30's. If I remember correctly, he was on those teams in the late 30's that were undefeated and held their opponents scoreless.

In 48 & 49 Dad transferred to Wofford College where his number was retired and he was inducted into the Wofford Football Hall of Fame. On my last trip to TN to go through pictures and such, I found a draft letter from The San Francisco 49ers. Unfortunately, Dad was also in the ROTC and after he graduated, the Korean War started in 1950 so that took precedent over playing for the 49ers.

After a long day in the sun at the sandbar, my wife treated me to meal at Buffalo Wild Wings. Not realizing my lips were extremely sunburned, I dove into my usual concoction of bleu cheese and blazing sauce. As you can see this was an unfortunate decision on my part. RV was lulzing hard.

Got a text from a friend who wanted a video of me chugging a beer to show a friend from out of town. Here is what RV sent. I used to be a lot faster, but not bad IMO.
