He right handed and made one knuckle in then fade to the right at the end! I was like wth was that?

Greg Maddox was the master of the cut fast ball which would move in or away from a hitter and drop like a rock in the creek. Drove the hitters crazy.

Was a splitter. Looks like a fastball....downward rotation and slight knuckling action because there's not much spin on it. Nasty pitch but hard to control. Uehara's is one of the best.

Yes, he's saying Worley's injury is worse than "day to day" like Butch said in today's presser. Worley's likely done for the season. Not confirmed yet though.

That kinda sucks since he's been working so hard. Hopefully Josh will get it together and play like a Junior instead of a Freshman and lead us to a sweep in November.

I don't know the diff between a cutter, slider, splitter, curve, how many more are there?

How's this for a culture change:

Two days after a 45-10 loss to the #1 team in the nation, VN is debating whether or not our starting, true freshman, CB is going to be a true shutdown corner or just another "good corner", whether we have found our future starting QB, who also happens to be a true freshman, or if the (IMO) stop gap Jr. QB should still play when he heals up, and who rounds out our recruiting class and if it will be enough to finish #1 overall...

Butch is changing things fellas, one brick at a time...even VN.

I have no more reservations...we have a coach who will rebuild this program back to its former glory.

Cutter is a fastball thrown with more pressure applied by one of the two fingers...can move either way. Slider is basically thrown like a football.

Knuckle, screwball, change up are a few more.

I threw my curve more like a football and slider more 3 quarter. Personal preference I guess. Circle change was my knock out pitch

Yeah it's preference I guess. Was always taught to throw my slider like a football. Curve was fastball, fastball, fastball then tightening up a jar of mayonnaise. Lol.

May be why my era was so damn high!? :)

After watching the replay of Mizzou/USCe I definitely think we have an advantage in the trenches. Minus Clowney we are visibly superior of Carolina on both sides of the ball IMO. Overall speed on defense is my main concern.

"An @InsideTennessee reporter says Joshua Dobbs will make his first collegiate start versus Missouri in Columbia on Saturday night. Dobbs' last start came for Alpharetta (Ga.) High School versus Mill Creek in the GHSA Class AAAAAA playoffs in November. In his prep finale, he completed 23 of 40 passes for 271 yards with four touchdowns and an interception."

The above was posted in the FF. Siap.
