Can't really blame you for that.

Tebow is a darn good QB. That ball he threw from the 45 was unbelievable. Fortunately, right now, he appears stoppable.

If he declared this year, where do you think he'd go in the draft? As bad as the NFL QBs are these days, I'd think he'd go first.

He won't, though. He's going to finish all four years.

I think that he has played two good defenses and lost both games. It sounds harsh, but I am being honest. He will have to show more with his accuracy under pressure. If he was able to drive for a score on his last possession, I might sing a different tune.

He will not run over any NFL defenses, and so far this offense has not really showcased his arm IMO. This is one of the handicaps in watching/running the spread offense.

UF will be tough next year. They rammed it down the throats of the supposed best defense in the country on Saturday.

You underestimate the lure of easy money. The only way that happens is if he gets hurt next year.

Florida lost by four points at LSU. That's not a bad loss at all. I'd say Florida played LSU much, much closer than anyone expected.

Agree. Offense played well enough to win but not the defense. LSU showed no fear with it's 4 down plays

I think the fact that Tebow is cocky and loves to taunt the other team and their fans after any positive play leads to the negativity moreso than him being so great.

The only thing I dislike about Tebow is that he plays for the Gators. That is the type of guy you want on your team.

Tebow the first QB taken if he came out this year? Wow, you must be kidding. He wouldn't even be a top 3 QB taken in this draft. He has a long, long way to go before he proves to NFL execs that he can play QB in the NFL. I think he exemplifies a lot of the reason why QB's in the NFL are not as good as we expected coming out of college. He is a system QB. And, that system does not work in the NFL. That presents a problem for him.

He's got infinite potential, though, don't you think?

He's still no Peyton Manning.

There are some similarities, but overall I think Tebow is a much better athlete than PM. Remaines to be seen how he will develop with more experience but I think given his talent he could equal or exceed all of PM's accomplishments.

Lg, what in the hell are you thinking or are you ? Tebow is by far the superior athelete but as a QB he ain't even in the same ballpark as PM, nor is it likely he ever will be. PM was born to be just what he is " a great PRO QB " maybe the best. The chances of Tebow even being mentioned in the same breath as PM as a Pro QB are just about zero...what he accomplishes in the college game is a different story but even that is far fetched.

LG. You're kidding yourself.

Tebow is a tremendous athlete and a great competitor. He's a far cry from an NFL-ready quarterback though. He'd be more suited to play full-back in the NFL right now than play quarterback.

To suggest that he'll exceed Peyton Manning's accomplishments is just silly.

All that matters now is that UT controls its destiny in the SEC east, no matter what UK, UF, UGA or USC do. Win out and UT goes to the title game, where they can beat lsu in the Ga Dome.
