So does anyone have any reason, besides blind optimism and hope, that we can beat Bama?
I'm looking at some stats, and it's not pretty.
McCarron 69.2% comp, 14 TD, 3 INT
Team Rushing: 6.0 YPC
Receiving: Top 6 receivers averaging over 10 yards per catch.
Scoring: 40.7 ppg
Defense: 9.7 ppg
Besides Texas A&M (42), no one has scored more than 10. A pretty good Ole Miss was shut out.
So let's hear it boys! and please don't just post this:

Someone posted earlier about North's catch being a program changer. I agree. I re-watched that play (and several subsequent slo-mo replays due to the injured SC player) about 10 times yesterday, and have a hard time describing how big I think that catch was.
Watching it over and over, the ball almost slipping through his left hand, it just felt like that it was a microcosm of the long-term trajectory of our program. It almost fell incomplete and North just willed that ball to stay in his hand. It was truly an amazing catch and meant even more than the 39-yard gain and game winning position that it enabled.
And, we should get one of those letters from the league (even though it didn't cause us any harm) acknowledging the complete incompetence of ANY official, to not pull a flag on that play!

Dat be me...
Changes mentality of the team, all of a sudden they know HOW to win, and establishes CBJ as an SEC coach.
Both Florida and Georgia are 4-3. Both are unranked. Both coming off back-to-back losses. Both 3-2 in the SEC. The loser slips to .500 on the year and in the conference.
