Bama's in for the toughest game they've played all year. Our team finally knows how to win, they have confidence and swagger. They believe. A great coaching staff can do wonders for a team.

The fans are starting to come around now too. If we beat Bama this weekend most of our fans will finally be back expecting to win. And we will expect to win out and go to a BCS bowl. Many thought it would take 2-3 years to get back to winning big games but maybe Butch has different plans.

I think we match-up very well vs. Bama and are going to win the game. Even if we don't win it'll be a close one in the 2nd half, our boys don't quit. Butch will have the team playing like champions this weekend.

Agree. I honestly don't feel much worse about those games now than I did at the beginning of the season.

Keep in mind that Auburn nearly lost to Miss St. I think the Tigers and Mizzou are both due for letdowns very soon. Hopefully they'll both be against us!

Beat all Tigers!!!!

Watched UCSe game again. Our D-Line has become fast and aggressive. There has to be some kind of award for Coach Stripling to win for what he has done with them.

I agree completely.

Noticed that also.Seems we are getting off the ball better and are using our hands much better.

I haven't watched Bama play much this year but know that the OL is not as good as it has been in the past. I think we can make some plays on defense. I just worry about moving the ball against them. From the discussion last week, Bama's defense is not elite, but we are still struggling some to maintain drives. The team confidence is our biggest asset.

My biggest concern with our current team is the back end of our secondary doesn't seem athletic enough to prevent the big play.

We only had one play I would pin on the secondary and that was on Coleman in man coverage with no help over the top. Coleman made up for it with his run support.

Davis' long run was on the LB's. They got out of position on that one.

Devrin Young is now listed as the backup slot receiver behind Alton “Pig” Howard, supplanting Johnathon Johnson.

Freshman defensive end Corey Vereen is now listed as the third Leo end behind starter Jacques Smith and Jordan Williams.

Linebacker Curt Maggitt, who hasn’t played all year as he recovers from ACL surgery, is no longer listed as a backup on the depth chart. Christian Harris, John Propst and Greg King are all in the two-deep behind starters A.J. Johnson, Dontavis Sapp and Brent Brewer.

While I share the enthusiasm over the recent turn of events for the Vols, I am very hesitant to call for the upset of Bama because I am not sure UT can get enough points to win the game. The offense has made some strides in recent weeks, but Bama's D is very physical and I only hope UT (especially the skill positions) can match it. I think UT will need around 24 points to win and against Bama's D that could be hard.

It's time to get pumped up for Bama week, boys!

Jancek's best play calls were showing 2 different d's when spurrier contemplated 4th down. Glad they were both bad looks for sc's play call

yeah, I watched Spurrier's show. He saw a hole, made the adjustments and Jancek had changed his D.
