Also the critical play to one of our te's on our first td drive. Very quick route and pass. Huge play

IMO that was one of Jake's best play calls of the game. We had run the past couple plays away from Clowney. USC brought pressure opposite from Clowney and rotated behind to cover the gap. We anticipated it and snuck the TE out into that vacated spot. It was great.

We flexed the TE out about 3 yards on that play didn't we? 85 I think it was.

We made some good adjustments this game. We were in zone a lot more than usual so it bothered the SCAR gameplan. Also Sapp on the RBs really helped out in man coverage. Spurrier just got out coached yesterday. :)

I was a little skeptical about Jancek, but I've been really happy with him so far. He's consistently putting guys in positions to make plays and making adjustments to take things away from the offense. It feels good to have a coaching advantage again.

Yeah, actually I think you're right. I don't think he was in on the line.

Doesn't take anything away from it IMO . He darted to the space vacated by the rush and was wide open

There's a reason he's on block. You can easily see how the two feed off each other. One has a big run the other goes out there and rips another 10-15 yarder off. Just good ole competition.

Neal was a beast in the Georgia game. He got stronger with more carries. He was THE guy. He was much better that game than yesterday.

Oh yeah, equally great scheme on that either way. I wasn't super happy with some of the choices we made on offense through the game, but that was a really good one.

Ga's defense sucks a$$. Sc not so much

Lane got hurt in the first half of USA game

Neal went off in the second half when he was THE guy.

Not sure how you can say he is better when sharing carries.

Disagree, yest would have been a good day to be dismissive of fsu's talent, but not today. Throttled a good team on the road. Destroyed them actually with a freshman qb

You're getting too hype about one game. Jameis is a RS freshman. Which is different.

Which would go against my initial thinking.... I'd be scared of clowney and leave a TE close in to chip. Later in the game, clowney was lining up on James side a lot. I wouldn't flex my TE out against him much but when I did, the ball would be coming out quick, as it did on that play

One thing I noticed was that even with Clowney making some big plays in the running game, I don't remember him doing a whole lot in straight up pass protection. I haven't gone back and re-watched it yet, but I feel like Tiny and James did a really good job containing him on pass rushes.

Your point?

You're not bright. That lane if healthy, would have been the guy and would have went off as well. Player injury does not negate that two backs spelling each other with diff skill sets is beneficial

Cam's pick saved that third quarter from getting out of hand. If they score 21 in the third quarter we're done.

I'm really glad we got that win. The next 3 games are going to be just as hard as the last 4, minus South Alabama. Hope these guys continue to believe they can win even if we suffer some tough losses.
