LOVE FREAKING VOLS team 117.. Great game, great crowd... First top 10 win since 2006. We have found our coach!!

I must admit I am a little disappointed that we aren't the only fanbase celebrating a breakthrough win.

Oh well I guess that petty

Wonder if certain posters will question North as a potential No.1 for us.

He and Howard will be fun to watch. Today showed why I want them with 8-12 touches a game each. They are our best playmakers period on offense.

That catch was unreal.

No I won't. I was wrong. Great break game for him. Hats off to him!

Hope he continues to develop

Not looking past anyone remaining on the schedule because 6 wins is not a given, IMO. It sure would be nice to go up to Columbia in a couple of weeks and give them a little payback for that gift of a win Dools gave them last year. Would be especially sweet giving them their first loss.

Both catches were. That 2nd one was RIPPED out of the air. His strength is impressive.

Also, think of this: This is his first real year at WR. His potential is ridiculous.

That's why I don't understand (other than Worley's accuracy probs) why we haven't tried many fades in the redzone to him. The way he went up and got that first one I was like wow. Seems if Worley could get it close to him North would come down with 90% of them. He skied for that one. Not very many db's could stop him, imo.

Enjoying watching Ole Miss having their way against The Hat and his Bayou Kitty Cats.

My thoughts exactly. Even the commentators were saying it, and they're stupid.

Maybe they'll work out some plays from this weeks film.

This is his 3rd "dayum" I think of the season so far. Yep some people give out helmet stickers; I'm giving out "dayums". First came the sportscenter highlight against WKU. Then the catch of the year TD against UGA and now today on the winning TD drive.

Once is a fluke; two times is a trend. Three times is a habit. I like this kid's habit.

I'm so glad we don't need gimmicky **** on gamedays like Clemson. Smoke, really? Geez!

4 long years weve all been waiting for that. I had literally forgotten what it feels like to win those kinds of games.

And talk about the battered wives of Vol Nation, I had a nagging voice telling me we were going to lose up until the refs walked out.

Good post. If you saw Worley in HS you would know he can throw fades and sideline patterns with the best of them. Get North to make his best Marcus Nash impression. Work Pig and DY underneath and outside. Have Croom, Smith, Johnson, etc. do the crossing, digs and slants. If you get near the end zone you try at least one fade to North or Croom with Pig underneath.

Worley's accuracy relates to experience, timing and trust with receivers. He beat a good D today. Coach Jake needs to get him in a rhythm earlier with short passes and not do so much delay/roll out/screen/bubble crap. Build his confidence more on slants, digs, wheel routes (which he is also good at), etc.

He is so far ahead of Crompton, Simms, etc. He has already done something Bray didn't in 3 seasons.
