It was like World War Z when that kick sailed through the uprights.

At first I thought he was just panning around the crowd during the break or something cuz the field goal unit was so far away, but then the place absolutely exploded.

I cried a little after this win. Was thinking somehow my dad was watching that kick as it went thru the uprights.

Wish he could've watched it with me.

I cried reading your post!

Not much to add except complete unconditional joy for our kids that deserve this so much!!

It's really great to see Palardy have a great season and be able to kick the game winner here. I'm really glad for all the seniors to be able to finally get this big win.

Thanks Bruin.

When you get down to the meat and potatoes of why tenn football is so special it's because of what it does for family and friendships!

Something tells me our fallen VFLs even enjoyed the Georgia game because Pig held on for the td in their new Home!!!

Watched from my laptop in Germany. Couldn't see the ball on the final FG attempt. Initially thought it was blocked, bringing back the 2009 Alabama game nightmare. Then I heard the announcer say it was good. I almost cried too. I'm from Morristown, but I own a home in Columbia. This was sweet!

Huge props to Palardy. He has done a complete 180 this year.

Huge props to North for two huge catches. Especially the last where it was under thrown and PI that wasn't called.

Huge props to this damn Defense! They played great except for the long td and a few runs from Shaw and Davis. They made him earn everything he got today and he was one of the hottest qb's coming into today.

Huge props to the crowd at Neyland. It was rocking again.

Lastly, huge props to Butch and staff. He has out coached Richt and Spurrier with them having top 10 teams in back to back games.

Man it truly feels great to be a Tennessee Vol!!

Bring on bama. Team 117 aint scared!

I felt the same way. But you can bet our dads watched. Probably celebrating together.

I feel the same way. Lost my father after Georgia game 2 weeks ago.

I think he's smiling now.

Go Vols!

@wesrucker247: Vols' Daniel McCullers said he didn't join the dogpile on Palardy after GW kick: "I ain't gonna jump on anybody. That wouldn't be right."

Big Dan gets it.
