Waiting for a tweet from Coach Z where he says his favorite NBA player is a certain power forward from the Utah Jazz.

:18 won't make it in and 19 isn't committed anymore, might be down the road but I'm not thinking it will happen. Berrios?

Hypothetical roster, my bad

"It's appealing because it gives you the opportunity to come in and play early and make an instant impact. And it's a chance to contribute to building the hometown program back up."

"The difference is the atmosphere is a lot more … it's just a better atmosphere and it wasn't like going through the motions of just doing things," said Malone, the state's second-ranked player with an offer list crowding 40. "They're doing things the right way."

"What sticks out really is how they played with a great team and all the time I got to spend with the coaches," said Malone, whose star first began to shine two years ago from his work with Nashville-based In Full Motion/Playmakers Academy. "That's good to see because it shows the coaches care about you, not just for four years but a lifetime. They're showing they're always going to be there for their players for a lifetime."

"I have a good relationship with butch. He's making me a priority and he keeps really appealing to me about rebuilding the program," Malone said. "As a player, you want to go to a place where you're needed and wanted."

Dobbs was his host on the boat trip and throughout campus.

"It was great. That was a good little set up," Malone said of the boat outing. "They had a Playstation 3 and we were just hanging around getting to know recruits and coaches."

"It was really just a good experience," Malone explained. "We went to the business school up there, which was real impressive too."

-John Brice

On Dobbs' message to Malone:

"(Dobbs) said that they've got a great coaching staff and all the guys respect them," said Malone, who intends to be a mid-term enrollee. "He was talking about this season, that it's the foundation. He was just telling me really that Tennessee is going to be a force, something to worry about in the future.

"It's appealing because it gives you the opportunity to come in and play early and make an instant impact. And it's a chance to contribute to building the hometown program back up."

I doubt very much since he won't be here... but Think what Coach Z could do...

Ummm... Was going for sarcasm. I took the long list to be a list of kids we would have if we got everybody volnation said we were getting.

Thus i tried (and apparently failed seeing that you replied this way and got three likes!) to be funny bringing up tee since VN figured that was a done deal at some point also

Has there been any quotes from Malone comparing the LSU/GA vs the TN/GA atmosphere???

We had a great atmosphere on Saturday but I doubt it was better than Athens last week.

But do they have a Boathouse? Or a River named after the Football Team? Or Mountains named after the Mascot? :)

Need a few more.... Very thin at that pisition

I agree about Lauderdale and K. Jackson. Not sure that Evan Berry will be a WR. A couple of those in the list are role players at best...certainly have not proven to be valuable depth at this point. I would take Malone over the other two. Seems to be more stable mentally and has 5 years to play 4. Berrios would be a great replacement for the Lee/Powell loss.

Berrios is a longshot. Jackson and Lauderdale probably won't be here. Evan probably won't be WR. The list of 20 WR's has been cut to 16. 16-18 WR is about right.

I was skeptical of Evan's desire to play receiver when it first came to light...at best I thought he might pull a Charles Woodson role...but it's looking like a better fit for him as each day passes

Josh is very hard to read and I'm not sure anyone knows what he's going to do yet, including Josh.

Malone was the last official visitor to leave Sunday night and the coaching staff left everything on the table and really have recruited him as hard as they could. I think it comes down to Georgia and Tennessee and right now I think it's 50/50.

If it's 50/50 after this weekend, then I think it was pretty safe to say that UGA led prior to his OV to us.

I hope he sees the chance to play with Vick, Boothe and Creamer as an opportunity to be covered 1 on 1 a lot.
