This may have already been mentioned, but apparently Rajion Neal leads the SEC in rushing yards right now. That's no small feat, and it shows how well we've come along in the running game when you add in how well Lane has played.

So horrible Neal and our "overrated" line are not so overrated after all!!!!

.
Exactly. He's on pace to have over 1,200 yards and 14 TD's. If we get to a bowl game and he rushes for 100 yards in that one, UT would have it's first 1,300 yard rusher since Hardesty did it back in 2009.

Neal has more rushing yards than Seastrunk with playing a much tougher schedule. That is impressive. Neal is a work horse who is out performing Hill and Yeldon. That is big time.

Wish he would run more north and south but there is no doubt about it that he will get his chance at the NFL I think.. Good for him, proud of him, and this team.. Don't take away what Neal has done because we have a great o line. he gives his all, and he is a great leader on this team and a very high character guy.

Which poster was it in the off season that whined, moaned and ignored statistics, determined that CBJ was turning us into a pass-happy, pansy, spread offense?

"You have to run the ball to win the this conference."

"Butch is a run-first coach."

"No he's not. It's a spread."

I think it helped Neal to get all the carries except for a breather every now and then....when you keep switching Neal and Lane it may not let them get in the zone.

I love Neal and the Big Orange - but dude - check the number of games played and number of carries before you say stuff like that..."more yards than Seastrunk"

True but Seastrunk is usually a cheerleader by the 2nd quarter cause they're already up by 70!

Yes Neal has more carries, but he also has more rushing yards that's a fact and that's all I said.

Neal- 616
Seastrunk- 589

So how did I go wrong by saying Neal has more rushing yards? It's a fact. I never said anything about number of carries so that point is moot. Nor did I mention games played. Learn how to read please and do some research before you post.

He's not flashy which is why I don't think he gets much attention. He also doesn't break tackles and run people over, but we're definitely going to need him on the back stretch to get to a bowl game.

This yr is the best we have rushed the ball in yrs. This coaching staff must be doing something right.
