Seeing Neal these last two weeks has been fun. This is the guy we've been looking for the last two years. Ran hard and with heart...

On one of the fourth downs where he jumped to make it, I was thinking we were stuffed. That was awesome.

Got plenty to say but will wait until the emotions are gone except for this:

The rule about a fumble into the end zone being a touch back is just plain ignorant. Why in the hell should a fumble thru the endzone carry a more severe penalty than a fumble anywhere else on the field???

A fumble is a fumble is a freaking fumble and should carry the same penalty.

And yes I would say that regardless of which team was penalized.

Opening penalty cost us 3.

Yea but that last one hurt a lot more. We were one play away from winning the game.

And the circumstances are puzzling. Why the hell was he ripping off the guy's helmet in that situation? Disturbing lack of focus. He is a freshman ... I get it. Still, that penalty stung.

I can't traverse 10 pages of posts so excuse me if this has already been addressed....

Did anybody else think the penalty on Vereen may have cost us the game? GA would have had one more play (it was 3rd down I believe). It hurt. Kid is good ... but it hurt.

Biggest play of the game was the screen route to the white guy that went for 17.

Didn't he just get his hands under the facemask while rushing the QB?? It wasn't an intentional thing I don't think

Also we stayed in the LSU game despite Dooley. We stayed in this game because of Butch's second half coaching and what he's done to the mentality of this team.

GA called a horrible game on O in the first half - then we got lucky in second with the injuries. They could have put up 30 by half if they had let Murray be Murray.

Butch did have a good plan and coached well but we lost when it mattered to their second and third team skill guys.

Love the fight and love the possible outcome to recruiting. Just still think this will be a very long season.

Palardy was fantastic

Two things that add to the hurt for me.

1) streak against ranked opponents continues

2) if we had won, a bowl game would almost be a shoe-in. Still gotta find 3 more now. Hopefully will get one against Otis in a couple weeks. #andygriffithjokeboom

After seeing the highlights on TV, the WR blatantly picked Sapp on that pass to the FB for 40 yards down the sideline under a minute. Should've been a penalty. Ughhhhh

I thought he ripped off the helmet of the lineman he was up against. I may be wrong. I never saw a conclusive replay but it looked like he was a long way from the QB to me.

It was the OL but he just got his hands high while trying to beat him on the rush. Penalty yes but not an intentional thing if I saw correctly

If you're right ... that's good. I hope you are. They called an unsportsmanlike penalty on him. I assumed it was blatant.

Yeah, because we weren't missing our 2nd slot WR, two of our 2 deep DTs, our arguably best RB, and two two deep players in our secondary. Injuries happen to everybody. You can try and argue that we lucked our way into a close game and the team doesn't deserve credit, but you won't be convincing me.

Just a couple things:

1) Ron, would love to be able to sit down and have a beer or two with you. I'm on the same boat and am happy for our boys. I may not be smiling because I hurt for them, but I am as dang proud of them as anyone can be.

2) Geez, some of the fans on here. I understand that we lost. I get it, but this team needs our support and right now we need to look past our petty selfish feelings and give this team our full support. I gladly will eat my crow now for what I said about Worley. This game was all for them and not us fans. Not naming names. Carry on.
