I am kind of liking the negativity this week. The last couple of years, everyone has been all in thinking this is the year the we finally beat Florida. Well, it hasn't worked out when we think that we have a shot, so I am hoping that since nobody is thinking that we win, we will pull off the upset.

The game will not be as close as the score indicates. UT may hang around awhile, but will never have a chance to actually win the game. Similar to the Clemson-NC State game from last night IMO.

I feel like unless Worley/Peterman shows they can actually complete passes, UF is just going to load the box and we're gonna go 3 and out every time.

Visions of Peterman pulling a Cam Newton-esque fake QB read draw and hitting a wide open Marquez North on a post are dancing through my head.

24 - 17 Vols

Peterman with 100 rushing yards and 250 passing yards, named SEC player of the week.

now that is a prediction worth typing

if you think its going to be 27-10, TD by us in garbage time, etc - why bother typing it

Ron may be wrong but at least he is having fun while giving himself carpal tunnel

NCSU had plenty of chances to win that game last night. When it was 13-7 Clemson, the ref made a terrible call on that long TD run by NCSU saying he was out of bounds, he wasn't. Should have been 14-13 NCSU. Then next play they fumble, couple plays later Clemson scores. Instead of 14-13 NCSU it's 20-7 Clemson. And NCSU had multiple big plays called back on stupid penalties. Point is that game was actually closer than the score indicated, IMO. Clemson didn't play well at all for the most part and was really lucky to escape with the W.

I like this prediction.

Also, for those who are saying UF has struggled offensively - they managed 413 yards against Miami, who is a solid defensive team. Miami forced TOs when they needed to (4 fumbles, 3 lost). UF ran 77 plays, averaging 5.4 yards per play, and had possession time of 38:20 (nearly doubling Miami's TOP). Moreover, UF converted 6 of 15 3rd downs.

The only statistic I wish I had were "big plays," or single plays for 20+ yards. At any rate, those are not statistics of a struggling offense, IMO.

Exactly, which is what I have been saying. Add in the extra week to prepare and get healthier. If you watched them against Miami you know they shot themselves in both feet and they clearly fielded the best players.

I would take 24-6 as significant improvement. I would love to see a playmaker QB step up in this game and make some plays to give us hope for the rest of the season against the SEC.

Florida will be loading the box all game anyways. They'll leave the Corners by themselves as usual. Our WRs will just have to win.

Because Josh Smith, Pig Howard, North, and Croom create enough separation from Roberson and Co. Ain't gonna happen.

UF- 28
UT- 10

If that makes me a negavol, so be it

Oregon is a much better team than Florida, make no mistakes, guys. Overall, they are faster and more efficient. We stand a much better chance against UF than Oregon. So don't think it will be close to a repeat. That being said, given our talent and depth, we will need a few breaks to go our way to have a real chance. Otherwise, I see us losing by two or three scores.

I'm hoping for a sloppy, overconfident Florida team.

Yep

Ron and I must both be wearing some of these, because I think that we pull the upset...
