Franklin may not be allowed to leave the state soon.
Wouldn't this be similar to what Joe Paterno did?I've worked in criminal law offices for two years.
When the Cam Clear story came out, I thought he was toast. They caught him in possession of stolen property with a specific value and had him on video stealing more property.
Now he is playing ball in another state.
I really think there is a different standard for athletes and celebrities like Janzen Jackson and maybe Ramar Smith.
What Franklin might have possibly done, if some sketchy reports are true, probably isn't bad enough under the celebrity standard to land him in any trouble. Might ruin his career, but I'm betting against him getting charged.

Paterno failed to take action on a staff member that committed a felony. Franklin may have told a team member to destroy evidence of a felony crime. Both are bad actions but destroying evidence may be looked at as being worse than not taking action. JMO
More bad publicity for the mad hatter.
This, with the Jeremy Hill incident and the Mathieu multiple drug tests will surely be used against him on the recruiting trail. Who wants their kid in that environment?

Edit: It looks like most of this timing is on Gundy's watch, but I think some of it is still with Miles.
