Don't know why anybody thinks Carroll would leave Seattle. He's got a really good team there, and he's gone to the NFL two different times now so it seems like that's where he wants to be.

People keep saying Franklin. If Franklin is on the list I think Briles has to be.

Baylor is an easier build-up job than Vandy, but historically they are almost as bad.

There's a possibility that Franklin will be fired and not on anyone's list by the end of this season. Maybe Bubba's.

Franklin may not be allowed to leave the state soon.

I've worked in criminal law offices for two years.

When the Cam Clear story came out, I thought he was toast. They caught him in possession of stolen property with a specific value and had him on video stealing more property.

Now he is playing ball in another state.

I really think there is a different standard for athletes and celebrities like Janzen Jackson and maybe Ramar Smith.

What Franklin might have possibly done, if some sketchy reports are true, probably isn't bad enough under the celebrity standard to land him in any trouble. Might ruin his career, but I'm betting against him getting charged.

Franklin love is strong here. Lets get real. He has produced a little better than Bobby Johnson results at Vandy, with less class. At least Bobby beat two ranked opponents in 2008.

Wouldn't this be similar to what Joe Paterno did?

What position group for UT needs to play the best in order for UT to compete with Oregon?

"I think obviously the front seven has to be lights out, but as far as being significantly better than what we've seen so far I would definitely say QB's and WR's would need to step up in a big way."

-Rob Lewis

"I think the defensive line. Pressure Mariota and contain Mariota. Stop the run and usually things go in your favor."

-Fortenberry

"I think the entire defense. If you're going to pin me down for one group, I think the defensive ends have to have a great day. This is a very difficult challenge for the defensive ends."

Paterno failed to take action on a staff member that committed a felony. Franklin may have told a team member to destroy evidence of a felony crime. Both are bad actions but destroying evidence may be looked at as being worse than not taking action. JMO

Just about impossible to prove it unless many people come forward. Vandy will make sure that doesn't happen, assuming it's true. Nothing will come of this for JF.

More bad publicity for the mad hatter.

This, with the Jeremy Hill incident and the Mathieu multiple drug tests will surely be used against him on the recruiting trail. Who wants their kid in that environment?

Edit: It looks like most of this timing is on Gundy's watch, but I think some of it is still with Miles.

Eh, I am sure a few Louisiana parents of 4 or 5 star blue chip prospects wouldn't mind sending their kids there. JMHO.
