This really isn't intended as a smart-a$$ question: Do you think Tee Martin is questioning his choice about now?

For those saying we can beat Oregon...

Who on our team would crack their 2 deep? The Oline and MAYBE Randolph, AJ, and Big Dan. And AJ and Big Dan are HUGE maybe's. We have some talented Frosh but it's hard for me to see any of them cracking the 2 deep.

60-17 Oregon.

Wonder how many top 3 teams have lost in their home stadium to unranked teams over the last say 25 years?

60-17 Oregon.

Yep. I've been saying somewhere between 52-57 Oregon and 10-17 Tennessee. Not gonna be the most fun watch ever but hey maybe they'll surprise. Even if Oregon scores a ton, if we are able to score a lot to answer (and still lose by plenty), I'll be impressed. If we get into the 30s I'll be satisfied.

Don't go all NegaVol Wu! :loco: I think most rational people know that UT beating OR next Saturday is a long shot. It is improbable. It is not likely. However, it is by no means impossible. I am not going to walk around with Orange colored glasses on but I cannot help but always be optimistic about our VOLS. Even over the past few years I have always thought that "this is the week we are gonna pull an upset". The great thing about this year is that with the way this staff studies and prepares the likely hood of pulling one of those is much more likely.

As long as they go out there and give their all for TN I will be grateful. :good!:
I'm with you on all accounts, and I think we have a huge shot against UF. I just think with the kids we have and our style of play, the Oregon game might get ugly.

Yeah. It could defiantly be one of those games. Here's hoping Butch can slow em down a little. I'll be watching the whole game regardless.

Afraid so too. I'm just hoping we don't get demoralized to the point we lose confidence before heading to Florida. If Oregon hangs sixty plus on us....ouch....

Monte Kiffin evidently saw the handwriting on the wall & now has a great job with Dallas. The Cowboys looked a lot better on defense last night, or maybe the Giants & Eli were just rusty?

I think TM will stay in California in some capacity after he loses his job. Lane? I wonder if he will even get another HC job anytime soon.

So next year's front 7, that we know of...

Williams, O'Brien, Carr, Lewis/Vereen.

Curt AJ JRM/Other

This is for LV, since he seems to be MIA lately...31-23 Vols!!!

Personally, I believe that we have to put up at least 40 points on the board to have a chance for the upset, as well as control the game with our running attack. If we score 40+ and rush for over 300 yards, then I say we pull the upset. I know...that's alot to ask.

Walls is gone after this year.

And Carr would have to overtake saulsberry

And Lambert will have a good shot at either DE or DT

Forgot saulsberry, i'll admit that. I like him and forgot him.

Rivals depth chart has Walls listed as a redshirt JR, but that could be wrong, obviously.
