Anyone heard how Moss thinks it's disrespectful for CP to wear #84 he went on rant about how he doesn't deserve it and how he made that number. Until they retire the number it's fair game in my opinion.

Randy just hates that Minnesota probably has a more talented player than himself. A little butt hurt, that's all.

I'm a CP fan and all, but come on. Randy Moss was an athletic freak and is arguably a top 30 receiver all time. It's extremely premature to say CP is more talented than Randy Moss.

Not sure if his number is retired or not but for the sake of argument lets say it isnt; I couldn't see Chris Carter saying something like that if a rookie reciever were given his number.

Because of Randy Moss' attitude I doubt his jersey will ever be retired, nor will he most likely go into the HOF...

But I do think that it is hard to say a rookie is more talented than one of the most talented, bone headed receivers that ever played the game.

I love cp and all, but moss actually knows how to play the position, and was just as athletic.

CP is a freak.

CP did it for one year in college. Moss dominated int he NFL for several years, including his rookie year. If he actually cared and put in the effort, he would have been the greatest, without argument. I love CP, but he isn't close at this point to Moss in those early NFL years.

He's a first ballot HOF player. Period. Even with some of the boneheaded stuff he did, he was the best receiver of his generation. And it wasn't really all that close.
