New night shift thread

Brick by brick my man. Rome wasn't built in a day and I figure CBJ will have them busting humps all season long to get up to speed.

I expect this "build" to take two full seasons.
In 2015, I hope we are back to our rightful spot of 1-2 in the east. Every damn year.

I'm just optimistic. And hoping and praying for a 7-5 season. Have a bet with a Texas fan the Vols go 7-5 he had to get in front of the formation and sing Rocky Top.

I thought our fans were bad, but good grief, they are far worse. So here's to optimism.

True, but our 2's, and threes showed they were a field goal better than APSU. That is terrifying.

That is what I have been thinking. A couple more injuries....and the morons on VN will be wanting to separate Butch from his head by the end of the year. It is what I have been concerned about all year. Idiots like stj18 will still spew moronic crap like "If this is the right hire, then he should have no problem winning 8 games" Doesn't matter if we have a weak offense (not counting the OL, which is really good at pass blocking, but I am still not seeing anything that convinces me that they can blow SEC DLs off the line) and are returning one of the 5 worst defenses in CFB. Butch has his freakin work cut out for him, and he will get no patience from our moronic brethren.

Ifs and buts candy and nuts and all the rest..
I am not a Peyton hater btw.
I just prefer winning to gaudy numbers.

Like...if Marino had San Frans defense he would have been the one with 4 rings? I think Peyton's problem has always been that he tries too hard. He is still a great QB. One of the all time greats.

Peyton is the Dan Marino of UT football. Obviously the best QB we have ever had, but not herculean enough to pull the team to victory on his own.

It is what Julius Caesar supposedly said to Brutus as he was attacking him. :) I used it jokingly because you were supporting Doyle. It is one thing I love about our little group here, is we can disagree without turning it into a typical VN circular firing squad (of which I admit I take too much part in, but there are just way to many complete morons on VN).:hi:

Pretty much the way I feel about him. I also blame Phil and his staff instead of Peyton for those UF losses. The defense was the biggest reason we lost those games. When we finally learned how to defend UF we started winning.
